My 100% true story starts right here…as I am…

I had also delivered pizzas for a short stint for some extra money. I had (and still have) a beautiful wife and 1 young son (now have 3!). Life was not bad by any stretch of the imagination. BUT…
I also had an adjustable rate mortgage that liked to eat more and more of my money each month….but my income wasn’t growing, while my bills were getting fatter every month. Do you hate seeing stacks of unpaid bills laying around as much as I do?
I also found myself staying up late at night playing video games against online opponents. It was quite the addiction (though I called it “fun” at the time). I would often not make it to bed until 4 a.m. Then I would wake up at 8 a.m. to go tint windows all day (usually on cars and sometimes on houses). Then it HIT ME…
The time I spent playing video games at night (which was several hours)….was there any way I could use that time to learn how to make money on the internet? I figured there HAD to be some way to make it happen….so then my research began. (No doubt you have had this “a-ha moment” which is why you are reading this page)
I can’t tell you all the different sites I read and ebooks I bought in in early 2006 that showed people how to make money with Clickbank…but it was no small amount.
But never posting, just reading tons of threads and trying to glean some nuggets of information from them that would help me get started with my efforts to make money online. I also bought enough ebooks/courses on internet marketing to clog up a sizable chunk of my computer memory. After sorting through a fair amount of stuff…some stuff more useful than other stuff…I decided to venture out on my own into the murky waters of internet marketing.
The basics of getting up a website with an affiliate offer and getting targeted traffic to that offer were no small task for me to tackle…but eventually I learned how to publish a butt ugly web page and throw up some text/pictures on it.…and when I say ugly…I do mean that. But I still took a little sense of pride for at least getting that far…even though it took me well over a year.
I felt like crap. Literally. After spending so much time reading and learning online…and then sticking my neck out to try to succeed as an internet marketer…I had NOTHING to show for. No sales = no cash = no confidence = feeling like crap = wanting to QUIT. I told my wife about how big the potential was in internet marketing…and I didn’t have diddly squat to back that up after seemingly endless nights being up late behind the computer while she spent the evening by herself. You been there? Not a pretty place to be huh? I didn’t want to add marriage problems to my seemingly growing list of issues….
My mom didn’t raise any quitters…at least that’s what she tried to instill into me and my brothers. But….for a few months…I did quit. Not proud about that. But I felt like I had to step away from it…funny thing was… as the weeks/months went by…I still couldn’t keep my mind off of internet marketing! I was totally hooked (still am). Even as I sat in my window tinting shop…tinting windows (that’s what I was doing for a living back then)…I thought about things that I could have done differently…that might have made just enough of a difference so that I could succeed and bring home some serious dough through internet marketing.
So….after a few months of reflection…I decided to give it another shot…
This time…I began to promote clickbank products via pay per click advertising. I drained $500 within 2 weeks of my first “pay per click” campaign…with a whopping 0 sales in my clickbank account. Yep…I said zero…total goose egg dude!
But… I was kinda happy? Not initially…but after I realized what I was doing wrong I was very happy. Do you know how I realized what I was doing wrong? It was 2 things:
See…what I learned from my experience and from reading forums & ebooks was that in order to be a successful clickbank affiliate I needed to only promote products that I knew for a fact appealed to certain people who were:
Now that is a very general and basic overview of what I learned….but it is the truth and it is NOT going to change. I don’t care how high tech you see the “gurus” getting…this is how it is and this is how it’s going to stay. Regardless of your approach to marketing clickbank (or any other products) stuff, whether it’s advanced sales funnels or video marketing or social media or whatever the heck your approach is….if the crowd you are marketing to is not passionate/desperate & doesn’t have some money to spend you aren’t going to make sales. It really is that simple…yet it can still be hard when you try to implement this concept to your own marketing efforts and I totally understand that (been there!).
Now that I had learned a valuable lesson (and quite a few other things too numerous to detail on this page) about affiliate marketing…I once again tested the waters….
This time I had sales rolling in…it was crazy! How’d it happen you might ask? Let me tell you! It’s exciting to share this story! Money coming in my clickbank account! That was back when the “clickbank bars” were purple and green (old school!):
I started promoting a site that sold access to foreclosure data (also nowhere to be found now, similar to the PSP sites) by using a landing page that reviewed several foreclosure sites. I can still remember clicking the refresh button like a madman while the sales rolled in…the clickbank sales bars kept getting longer and longer! (Have you experienced that thrill yet? It’s awesome!)
I also promoted several other clickbank sites and made some money from them….not millions of dollars but I still had “cracked the code” and was feeling like I was “in the zone” like they say in sports…I started cranking out a few sales every day or two several products. It was such a rush to see those sales roll in!
Over the next several months, the sales numbers really started building steam!
I kept on with my newfound success for several weeks…but then bumped my head on somewhat of a “glass ceiling” that I seemed unable to break through…sure I had the $500 day…but it just wasn’t consistent enough for me to feel confident.
Don’t get me wrong…making a part time income from home was nice. But I wanted to do it FULL TIME. Heck with waking up every day for work. I had tasted success…now I wanted the whole enchilada.
So that’s exactly what I did. It took about another year, but in December 2008 I closed down my window tinting shop and began working from home full time…that is…after I expanded my business and became 110% laser focused on one particular niche that enabled me to make the kind of money that allowed me to “kick my job to the curb”.
How’d I do it?
My own little spin on “Copy-Catting” (legally, of course)….meow…That’s what got me to the point where I could work from home full time. That’s what you’re wondering isn’t it…what was it exactly that got me to the point where I had nice, steady (and FAT) stream of income that let me live “the good life”?
Yep. That’s it. Legal Copy-Catting. Basically, I learned a niche very intimately…examined how another marketing group was making 8 figures a year (and still is to the best of my knowledge) delivering targeted content to this niche…and then when I felt confident enough, I launched my own product that followed the same model of the marketers I was… well…Copy-Catting. By the way, this niche is STILL hot and always will be…outside of something like a nuclear war or something like that happening (God forbid).
Remember the kid in school that was always accused of being a Copy Cat? He put himself at risk of failing to take the ULTIMATE SHORTCUT to get a good grade…
The way I Copy-Cat…there is no risk of going to detention like that kid in your 5th grade class….it’s perfectly legal and totally ethical…big businesses do it ALL THE TIME…
For example….Since the iPhone came out it 2007…what do all of the cell phone makers produce? Smartphones! Sure…some are more blatant copies than others…ahem Samsung Galaxy. I know that they are getting sued by Apple…but still…the fact remains that Samsung has made gobs of money simply by modeling a phone after the wondrous iPhone.
No “Copy-Catting” going on here huh? lol
Can you imagine if Samsung was still trying to push “dumb-phones” ? I think they’d be pretty close to bankruptcy by now if that was the case.
Another example? Sure…
You know OREO cookies right? Before you go dunkin’ on me…
Consider the “Hydrox” cookie that came out in 1908..years before the OREO did:
Safe to say the OREO folks got just a tad bit of inspiration from Hydrox? Um yeah.
So what I did was….I took the same principle that big corporations use when they “Copy-Cat” and used it for my own little internet marketing business…
*Note: I made sales in other accounts in 2008 that put me over 100k for the first time…but that wasn’t all…
Through the combination of my clickbank earnings AND another site in my niche that I was an affiliate for, I had my first ever $10,000 DAY on May 13 2009! Check it out! (this is a pic of the +9,000, never saved the screenshot from the other 1k or so, sorry)

I woke up one morning after these sales numbers became a reality for me…
And suddenly realized…I had become the absolute HERO to my family that I wanted to be….and deep down I knew I could do it all along…now my dreams were being realized…WOW! What a great feeling….to know that my dream of making money from home was now REAL. (I still have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure I’m not dreaming)
Now I could start doing those things that were only something I thought about doing…You know..maybe the same stuff that crosses your mind just about every day?
Here’s what I did next…as I stepped into “Hero” status (at least in my wife & kids’ eyes) :

I love me some golf too…and now I actually have time to play!!!
Now…you might think that what I did with my new income related freedom was no big deal. But it was (and still is) to me!
Maybe you are different than me…and would spend your new increased amount of income differently…perhaps you want to buy more big shiny stuff than me….or want to take more extravagant, lavish vacations than me…
And that’s fine! All we need to do is get you to the point where your online income allows you that freedom…and that’s exactly what I want to help you achieve….but…let me tell you something else real quick….
There was something WEIRD that began happening to me after I went full time as an internet marketer. PEOPLE LOOKED AT ME DIFFERENTLY. For the most part, these were people with whom I was fairly good friends. But now they noticed…I was around more often…I was spending more time with my family…and they eventually found out that I closed down my window tinting business.
After a short period of time…these people…that I actually knew in real life…started asking me about how I make money on the internet. So what did I do? I sat down and actually taught a few people how to do what I do.
Now…everyone that I taught did not succeed. Some people made lame excuses like “I couldn’t sit at the computer all the time like that”. But some did actually go on to make their very own income from the internet! Not gonna lie…most of them had a hard time wrapping their head around the whole thing…but still.
The whole reason this web page even exists right now…is mainly due to people I know in REAL LIFE…that I have helped to make money online….
Let me explain…
Someone who is a very close friend of mine…whom I have known for over 10 years…is now successful in internet marketing. I basically showed him the ropes and mentored him for a while…and he is now totally self sufficient and is making good money as an internet marketer. My technical expertise when it comes to the “nerdy” aspect of internet marketing goes about this far: I bought 2 “For Dummies” books….one on basic HTML, and one on Search Engine Marketing . That’s who you are dealing with here…can you relate? If you are skilled at anything like web design…that’s great…but it is NOT necessary to succeed with the system I’m about to show you if you join.
