Case Study #1
This site was started in February of 2011 and was originally targeting a keyword that had more competition that we would ideally like, but it had outstanding success in its niche due to lots of quality content and continued backlink building (itâs up to over 100 articles and 7,000 backlinks at this point). This is an example of persistence, consistency, and why creating an ongoing schedule is important to your success. Case Study #2
Here’s a case study for a site that represents the power of leveraging outsourcing, something we cover in an advanced imFuse Video Training Series module. While we always feel it’s best to build your first few sites by doing most of the work yourself so that you learn the process, delegating a lot of your tasks to outsourced contractors can be a powerful way to get results more quickly than if you were doing all of the work yourself. This site was created at the beginning of December and as of mid-February, was starting to scrape the 700 visitors a day mark. By outsourcing all of the content creation for this site and a fair amount of the link building, this site has achieved this level of traffic with a minimal time investment after we sat down to build it. This was a case where we re-invested the first few weeks of earnings the site generated in purchasing high-quality content. It now averages around $80.00 per day in earnings with plenty of room for growth with its targeted keywords.
Case Study #3
This case study is a testament to the power of researching your topic thoroughly and writing high quality content that you genuinely feel will interest the audience within a niche. This is a site that was also started at the beginning of December. Originally, we targeted the primary keyword for this site because the competition was very soft. It’s really an ideal situation for one of your first sites so that you can learn what it takes to get to the top of the rankings and build some confidence in your budding internet marketing skills. We started adding some high quality, original content to the site on a regular basis (as we show you how to do in Module 3 of the video training series). However, since we were writing our content for humans instead of search engines, we started seeing massive traffic from all of these other keywords which people were typing into the search engines. As a result, this site only picks up about 24% of its traffic from the original keyword we chose. All of the other traffic is from ranking for “long tail”keywords which we just naturally used by writing useful, engaging content. Our original estimates for a solid top 3 ranking in Google for the primary keyword indicated that we’d likely reach about $170 per month in revenue from this site.
