One percent is certainly not a lot. It’s just one out of every 100

100 who is most likely to buy from you… and then _systematically_
selling more of your products and services to them over time.
Now that may seem like common sense to you, yet it’s amazing how
few people actually do it in a consistent, methodical way.

typically fewer in number, this type of buyer will buy practically

In some cases, these proven buyers could make up over 50% of your
profits because they buy so much, and because it costs you hardly any
money to market to them.
Now, I happen to be _very familiar_ with this type of buyer because I
fall into this category of buyers.
You see, I’m constantly learning and perfecting my craft as a
persuasion expert, direct marketing strategist, and copywriter.

buyers have a strong passion toward a particular hobby, niche, field,

everything they can that relates to their interests.
For example, while I was in college, I was really into bodybuilding
and working out. I bought lots of magazines, nutritional supplements,
and workout equipment. So I know from personal experience how fitness
fanatics can be rabid buyers.
In another case, I once knew a guy who had _five_ sets of golf clubs
in his garage… _dozens_ of golf DVDs stashed throughout his house…
and subscribed to _numerous_ monthly golf magazines which cluttered
his coffee table.
And the irony of it all was that he only went out golfing once a
month!
He had literally spent thousands of dollars on golfing “stuff”
– but hardly ever went golfing! If you think for a moment, you may
know some friends or family members who are _exactly_ like that…
For these people, buying can sometimes become an addiction. And I
don’t mean to sound cruel or blatantly opportunistic…
But if you don’t market to these people, someone else will and
you’ll lose out on all this easy cash.
The trick is to catch them when they are in a buying frenzy. I teach
my clients how to do this, and if you’re interested, I can show you

THE LIFE-EVENT DRIVEN BUYERS: These people have recently had a major
change in their lives.
Recently divorced… newly discovered health issue or disease…
fired from their job… promoted to a new position… starting a

For example, when I owned and operated a professional resume-writing

It just doesn’t make sense to me. But then again, it’s also no

show you the important difference between the two.
PARTIAL-TRUTHS – These are statements that come in several forms
and do contain _some_ element of truth. The statement itself may be
partly true… or it may be totally true – but only part of the
_whole truth_. For example, in many weight-loss ads, they mention that
people have lost 20 50… even 100 pounds while using a particular
diet or supplement. But what they fail to mention is that those people
also exercised every day of the week and that the weight loss took
place over 6-12 months… not the 30 or 60 days you’re led to
believe. As you know, the weight-loss industry is a multi-billion
dollar industry that plays upon people’s belief in a “magic
bullet” that will help them lose weight. Using tactics like this is
how those companies make so much money year after year.
APPEALING TO FEAR – This is perhaps one of my favorite propaganda
tactics to weave into marketing campaigns and sales presentations. It
works extremely well with ‘Problem-Agitate-Solve’ sales letter
formats. Not long ago, I was at a dinner with a very well-known
financial publisher at a very exclusive resort in western
Pennsylvania. His then recent (and most successful) front-end sales
letter appealed to American’s fear about today’s scary economic
times. By appealing to people’s financial fears in a believable and
compelling way and offering to provide a solution to their fears, he
created well over 350,000 new paying newsletter subscribers and over
$16 million in sales – breaking all sorts of industry records. As a
result, his company is poised to rake in $100 million in revenue this
year.
Those are just three short excerpts of 20 different propaganda
