Well Hello There!

Thanks for visiting us! You're here because you're fat. That's ok,
you're human! The first step to fixing it is admitting you have a
problem. It's ok to be fat, but it's even better if you want to fix
that. If you want to fix that, we are going to change your life. At my
heaviest I weighed 355 pounds. That's huge and equivalent to about two
normal sized human beings. I ate too much, didn't excercise at all and
my job entails a lot of me sitting on my butt all day long. That's a
recipe for disaster and my before picture proves this. Have a look at
me before, below, (I was 340 lbs at that point). Then compare that to
me now, (At 262 lbs)!

I'm not a personal trainer. I'm not a dietician. I'm not a fitness
guru by any means. I'm just a father of 4 who decided enough was
enough. I had bad knees and remember playing volleyball and trying to
jump up to block the ball, I could jump up, (barely), but had to land
on my left leg only as my right knee was falling apart due to the
stress of all the weight on it. I remember going to my Doctor and
asking what he thought. He suggested I lose weight and start
exercising. I thought he'd want to do some kind of scope or something,
but he didn't. He did give me good advice, but I just ignored it. I
also had a very bad case of sleep apnea. I went to the sleep clinic
and they told me I held my breath for 30 seconds at a time about every
minute or so throughout the night. I also snored so loud that you
could hear me in the next city! I could barely make it up and down my
stairs in my home anymore and I was at a very high risk of adult onset
diabetes. The future was not looking good for me at all.
But that's the beauty of people, we can choose to remain out of
shape, fat and gross, (in my case) OR we can choose to do something
positive about it. I chose to do something about my issues. I chose to
lose 100 pounds. I'm currently down 78 of those 100 pounds and will
hit my goal within the next month or so. I've learned so much in my
journey and am so excited to share it with you! Now don't get me wrong
I'm not done! I've got 22 more pounds to go, but with this site and my
discipline I will reach that goal. Then I'll update this page and show
my current shots after I hit the 100 lbs lost.
