A LETTER FROM DR. JEN NASH, A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST WITH THE BRITISH
PSYCHOLOGICAL SOCIETY:

Dear Fellow Diabetes Sufferer,

When you, or with someone you care about, is having type 1 or type 2
diabetes it can be exasperating! You know the basics of how to care
for your health, sure. And yes, you are doing some things ‘right’
with diabetes, but having nagging doubts that there’s lots more you
could be doing for the feeling that’s full of health and wellbeing.

Wouldn’t you love to finally gain control over diabetes? And to
always feel in control – Finally! Gaining the confidence that
you’re consistently and systematically doing all you can, achieving
the good health you are longing for - and completely deserve!

End the feelings that your diabetes is running YOU, instead of your
diabetes bossing you.  I know, and completely get, that even with all
of the best of intentions - efforts can be inconsistent…

It can be SO frustrating! I know because I've been there. I’M SO
GLAD YOU FOUND ME!

I’m going to show you the exact steps for increasing your physical
and emotional health, without spending time trawling through books, or
attending a seminar or even visiting yet another health professional.

‘Quick’ advice and answering “basic” questions - are what an
overwhelming number of my subscribers are constantly asking me to give
them to help confront the psychology of their diabetes.

Many subscribers aren’t able to commit to consultation or therapy
services, whether it’s because of time commitments, the financial
investment, or simply because geographical constraints make it
impossible (I’m based in London but have subscribers who live in
more than 35 different countries!)

“Quick”, “basic”, and “available to everyone” no matter
the circumstance - This really got me to thinking. I knew that there
HAD to be a way to give you the information and support you need, and
the accountability, the resources and the inspiration to take care of
your health.

So that you would see tangible results in your health and wellbeing,
it had to be on an ongoing basis. I also realized there must be a way
for me to ‘be there’ for people, guiding them to implement the
Positive Diabetes principles and techniques.

By listening to my subscribers, and deciphering their most crucial
issues, and talking to trusted colleagues, in how all were dealing
with these same issues, -  I crafted the solution.

I’ve created an exceptional program that supports you; and your
unique needs! Honestly, it’s just a feeling of being ‘unique’
you are NOT alone. Learn from my specialized experience. How-to
implement the psychological strategies and techniques that my personal
clients also benefit from. Enabling you to gain the support you need
to increase your control over your diabetes and your health. After
months of development, pulling it all together, and assembling it all
together for you.

Warm wishes,

Dr. Jen Nash
Clinical Psychologist

_— FEMALE WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES FOR 12 YEARS_

“I’ve had type 2 diabetes for 2 years and since I was diagnosed I
basically stuck my head in the sand and ignored my health. I used to
think I had no self-control around food – Jen helped me to
understand that my eating behaviour was the symptoms not the problem
– I’d found comfort in food ever since I was a young girl. In
understanding that I wasn’t weak or a ‘bad’ diabetic, it’s
just food had acted as a way of soothing myself for so many years. We
worked on an eating plan that was achievable and still allowed me to
snack when I really needed comfort. I’m losing weight and feeling so
much better about myself.”
— Female, type 2 diabetes for 2 years

_“Before working with Jen I felt continually stressed by managing
my diabetes – the highs and lows, not being able to lose weight, not
feeling ‘heard’ by my healthcare team or understood by my family.
Jen equipped me with some really useful tools and strategies that
helped me see that I did have more control than I thought.”_
—Male, type 1 diabetes for 10 years

_“Dr. Jen Nash has that rare mix of professional knowledge and
personal experience that enables her to relate to the people she
coaches, teaches and supports. This empathy for other people living
with diabetes is what makes Dr. Jen such a pleasure to work with. The
Diabetes Research we continue to explore both areas. Dr. Jen brings an
additional dimension in educational support to people living with
diabetes, providing them with every-day practical exercises to improve
their lifestyle and understanding of their diabetes and why they make
the choices they do. She also helps them to challenge their own
thinking and habits to make changes for the better. Who better to
convey this message to people with diabetes, than someone that lives
with it herself? We look forward to many more years working with Dr.
Jen and hope she feels the same.”_
