ABOUT ME!
Guy Edrington, President of New World Trading Ltd
I have worked with RBC Dominion Securities in Toronto, the Edward
Jones head office in Canada and Refco Futures. I am president of New
World Trading Ltd now for over 18 years.
I am a past Board Of Director of the Canadian Society Of Technical
Analyst and started their Tech Talk Meetings. I have completed Level
2 of the Chartered Market Technician certification from The
International Federation of Technical Analysts.
Before venturing into to trading my first career was as a French Horn
player playing with orchestras in the United States and Canada. I
toured in Canada, the United States, Europe and South America. In
Toronto I was also the first horn for Les Misérables at the Royal
Alex theater. While doing this show I injured my lip and began my
trading and investing career.
I grew up in Columbus Georgia and graduated from Florida State
University and then studied in Norway at the University of Oslo and
the Music Conservatory. In Toronto I was a graduate of the Music
Performance and Communications program with the Royal Conservatory and
did post graduate studies at the University Of Toronto.
I also taught at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay Ontario and was a
horn instructor at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto.
