LOW CARBS AND SUGARS EGUIDE
LOW CARBS & SUGARS – EGUIDE
Want to LOSE I looked in my mirror every morning and hardly
recognized the person looking back at me! Last year I made a
commitment to myself to take responsibility for my weight and my
health. As a result of that decision and joining a local weight loss
clinic, I lost forty pounds and now feel wonderful. Going through the
process of losing and maintaining weight made me aware of everyone
around me who was also fat, tired and miserable! If these words
resonate with you, know that there is help for you. During my weight
loss journey I maintained a list of sites from which I order low carb
and low sugar products. By substituting foods, I was able to lose and
maintain my weight; I'm thrilled. So many people asked me about my
list that I decided to put it in a handy-dandy guide form and here it
is.
WITH THIS EGUIDE YOU WILL
* EASILY ACCESS LOW-CARB AND LOW-SUGAR PRODUCTS
* LEARN WHY HIGH CARB AND HIGH SUGAR PRODUCTS CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR
WEIGHT GAIN AND HEALTH PROBLEMS
* UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF SUBSTITUTING HEALTHY PRODUCTS FOR
SUSTAINABLE WEIGHT LOSS
_"This book is a must-have resource for healthy living. Margaret has
researched and suggested healthy low-carb, low-sugar products which
are so important for weight loss. As a professional committed to my
clients dental care, this book with its focus on non-low sugar
products is also important for the maintenance of dental health. Thank
you, Margaret!" _

NOW I WILL ASK YOU SOME REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS, THE SAME QUESTIONS
I ASKED MYSELF A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO:
* Are you fat and tired and fed up of being fat and tired?
* Do you look at your reflection and wonder who’s looking back at
you?
* Are you embarrassed by your appearance or frightened of the
thought that diabetes or a heart attack might be looming?
* Have you given up and accepted being fat? Do you pretend that you
just don't care?
* Have you found that your weight increase has been a matter of
gain, plateau, gain, plateau, with a shot of dieting in between?
* Do you justify that a few extra pounds don't really matter?
DOES THE FOLLOWING SOUND FAMILIAR:
* Doctor says you’ve got health issues and prescribes medication
* Doctor suggests antidepressants
* Years spent eating nonfat and low fat foods
* Sugar-free is your mantra
* Whole grain this, that and the other
* Weight increase no matter how little you eat
* Tired or easily exhausted
* Body pains, especially in your joints
* Feelings of being powerless, especially where your body is
concerned
* Sadness, resignation, anger over your weight
* Low self-esteem because of the way you look and feel
* No longer as mobile or flexible as you used to be
* Shame because of secret eating
* You’ve tried every diet and they just don’t work, let’s
blame your age, thyroid, menopause, genes, stress level, you name it
And the weight goes on and on!

THE STORY BEHIND THE EGUIDE
In my search for foods I could safely eat I’ve spent hours looking
at Web sites and studying nutritional panels. There were certain
guidelines I had:
* Low carbohydrate (approximately seven net grams or less per
serving)
* Low or no sugar
* No artificial sugar
* No soy (soy has estrogenic effects that I avoid)
* No alcohol
* Ingredients I could understand
We are creatures of habit and habits governing what we eat can be
tough to break. I decided to choose my battles, so to speak; I
carefully made my firm “forbidden” food list as short as
possible, and instead went the route of substituting foods. This
substitution approach has been a lifesaver for both my family and me.
I’ve taken control of my health destiny and I would love that you
join me; .
WHAT THIS EGUIDE IS:
* An introduction to my personal weight loss journey
* A collection of links to web sites offering healthy low carb and
low sugar foods (and, no, I don't get paid anything to endorse these
products)
* A practical resource where all the work has been done for you
I've spent hundreds of dollars on foods that I didn't include in my
list. My research will save you your hard-earned dollars.
I WROTE THIS EGUIDE TO PASS ON INFORMATION IT TOOK ME MONTHS TO
GATHER
* Are you dedicated to improving your health and losing weight?
* Take advantage of my research and order now.
* Your body will thank you for your action!
WHAT THIS EGUIDE IS NOT:
* Another useless diet book; if you're like me you've already read
books and books on diets; you don't need another book on the latest
diet, what you need is a resource to healthy low-carb and low-sugar
products
* Some expert selling you their latest diet product. Weight loss
needs to be sustainable and this eGuide identifies healthy food items
* A quick fix; to have a healthy body you need to change your
eating habits; this eGuide helps by recommending products that you
might not have heard of
THERE’S NO DOUBT THAT AMERICA IS FACING AN OBESITY EPIDEMIC, AND
THE REST OF THE WORLD ISN’T TOO FAR BEHIND. FAT HAS BECOME THE NEW
AVERAGE BODY BUILD AND OBESE HAS BECOME THE NEW FAT!
Take a look at the following statistics quoted by Jane Brody in her
Personal Health column in the New York Times of September 13, 2011:
“THE NUMBERS BEHIND AN URGENT FIGHT”
* If the trend towards Americans who are overweight or obese is not
halted, about three of every four Americans will be overweight or
obese by 2020
* By 2030 there could be 65 million more obese adults in the United
States than in 2010, according to the epidemiologist Dr. Y. Claire
Wang and her colleagues at Columbia University's Mailman School of
Public Health
* The health consequences of such a rise in obesity are staggering:
it would mean 8 million more cases of diabetes, 6.8 million more cases
of atherosclerotic heart disease and stroke and more than 500,000 more
cases of cancer.
* Together, the added treatment costs of obesity, already at $75
billion in 2003, could exceed $66 billion a year, with an even greater
cost in lost productivity of up to $580 billion.
* For every five-point rise in body mass index, men face a 52
percent increase in the risk of esophageal cancer and a 24 percent
increase in colon cancer.
* Women can expect a 59 percent rise in the risk of both endometrial
and gall bladder cancer and a 12 percent rise in postmenopausal breast
cancer.
* Other obesity-related ailments that contribute to the loss of
disability-free years and productivity include osteoarthritis, benign
prostate disease, infertility, asthma, sleep apnea and birth defects,
which are linked to maternal obesity.
I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT I DON'T WANT TO BE A “FATTIE HEALTH
STATISTIC,” AND I’M SURE YOU DON’T WANT TO BE EITHER. SO MUCH OF
THE ABOVE IS PREVENTABLE!
Yes, it is within our control! How? By simply substituting healthy
low carb and low sugar products for unhealthy high sugar and high carb
laden foods and, no, you can’t pig out on these foods either, there
is such a thing as portion control and calories and those have to be
learned about and honored as well!

_"Several years ago I became dissatisfied with my body’s bulk and
concerned about my health. I was not in ill health but noticed some
peers’ declining health and didn’t want to follow in their
footsteps. I attended a lecture which emphasized similar points to
what Margaret has pulled together in this ebook. I began my journey of
shifting my eating style and lost thirty-five pounds which gave me a
renewed sense of energy and confidence. I'm sixty-five years old and
have more energy, enthusiasm and strength than I’ve ever had. If we
treat our bodies with kindness and appropriate foods, they will
respond with healing and energy for whatever we want to do at whatever
age we’re negotiating."_
