For example, they show you how to sew a square on one corner of your quilt block. Then they tell you to do the same thing for the other three corners of your block. They forget that beginners don’t know what that actually looks like.

Every time I sewed a seam, I would go to PaintShop and create a graphic that looked identical to the fabric unit I had in front of me. This process took a few years to accomplish.
