From: Gloria Massard

Dear Beginner Quilter,

How much would you enjoy  the reputation of being a “wonderfully creative artist–maybe even secretly called “A Quilting Queen?”

Have you dreamed of showing off your very first quilt and amazing your family and friends with your sewing artistry?

My Granddaughter and I Snuggle with One of My Quilts!

Imagine, just a couple of weeks from now — It’s a weekend and a family member is staying overnight. You casually show them to the spare room where an incredibly beautiful ’hand-made quilt’ is gracing the bed.

Your family member is thrilled to be sleeping under such a beautiful quilt. And the best part is…
You Can Say, "I Made it Myself!"
I love quilting, and I have a special fondness for  showing people how to conquer their first quilt!  I love hearing comments from people who “ooh and ah” over the beauty of a hand-made quilt–especially when it’s your first one!

My first quilt will always have a special place in my heart. I’m sure if you own a ‘hand-made quilt’ you know it was made with loving care and you treasure it, too.

So with that said…
Wouldn't You Love To Create Your Own Hand-Made Quilts?
That’s where I come in. I’m here to help you create your first hand-made quilt.

I’ll take you by the hand and show you everything a beginning quilter should know.

I’ll take all the guesswork out of  selecting the right quilting fabrics (and which ones to stay away from and why — so you become a master fabric selector in no time, and you won’t waste money buying poor quality fabric you can’t use!)

I’ll show you how to easily cut, sew and create your first block in just minutes.

I’ll show you how to use a rotary cutter the right way and how to create crisp, even edges. You can easily match up the pieces and sew them together with ease!

I’ll give you the most popular and well-loved quilting block patterns to sew!

Here’s the Sampler Quilt for This Course!

You Can Easily Make  This Lovely Quilt
All you need to do is follow my step-by-step quilting illustrations and directions. I promise, you will have plenty of illustrations — of exactly what to do and when!

I’ll visually show you how to arrange your fabric pieces, how to sew them in the proper order and how to sew them in the proper place. In fact, you’ll have an illustration with every stitch you sew — not just to make a single block — but exact cut, sew and press instructions from the first piece cut to finishing an entire quilt!

I promise you…If you can sew a simple seam…
You Can Create A Beautiful Quilt You'd Be Proud To Own!
My ‘cut-this-sew-this method’ — is truly paint-by-numbers style!

I’m sure you’re aware that one of the biggest drawbacks of many quilting magazines and books you buy is they  lack clear directions. They have lovely patterns you’d like to try and gorgeous photographs… But when you want to know what to sew where and what side of the fabric to sew on – you are left in the dark to figure it out the hard way, all by yourself!

But not with my quilting book!   Introducing…

”Conquer The Quilt – Baby Steps To Beginner Quilting”

Now, you can conquer your first quilt, quickly and easily, with my super simple, super detailed quilting course.

But why listen to me?

While writing this book, I thought about obstacles I faced as a beginner. I lived in a rural area, and I didn’t have access to quilting classes. So, I turned to quilting books for instruction. Unfortunately, those beginner books contained few illustrations. And, those illustrations were often vague and hard to decipher because they were black and white. I found myself wishing they had elaborated (in detail) on how to accomplish each step.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve scoured many beginner books. Although these books have come a long way in color imaging and illustration, they still skimp on details.

For example, they show you how to sew a square on one corner of your quilt block. Then they tell you to do the same thing for the other three corners of your block. They forget that beginners don’t know what that actually looks like.

That’s where my book differs. My book shows you how to sew all four squares to your block. I accomplished this by creating a detailed graphic for every single step. Every time I sewed a seam, I would go to PaintShop and create a graphic that looked identical to the fabric unit I had in front of me. This process took a few years to accomplish. Yes, it was painstakingly tedious. But,
My Philosophy is "I Work Hard to Make It Easy For Beginners."
For the text instructions, I used as few words as possible. The simple text complements the detailed graphics. So beginners won’t feel so overwhelmed. But, I firmly believe a person could sew my sampler just by looking at the graphics. I took simple steps and broke them down into even smaller, more manageable steps, through visual illustrations and simple instructions.

My book is a visual quilting course. By the testimonials I’ve received (three web pages full) I have surpassed my goals of making beginning quilting fun for all ages and skill levels.

You can rest easy because with my beginner’s quilting book, each lesson shows you exactly how to cut different shapes and sizes of fabric, how many pieces you need, which piece to sew first, second and third… all the way around the block until it is totally complete!

See a few illustrations from the Log Cabin block lesson:

The chart below shows the number of fabric pieces to cut, and the size to cut them.

With my easy-to-follow cut, sew and press directions, you’ll know exactly which pieces to sew together, step by step, piece by piece.

Just follow the diagrams and continue cutting and sewing until the entire block is complete. Next, I’ll show you how to frame the blocks with sashing strips. (I promise you, it’s easy when I show you how!)

I’ll take you by the hand and show you how to layer the quilt backing, the batting and the quilt top, so they create a quilt sandwich!

In addition, I’ll show you how to baste the quilt layers together! And I’ll show you how to add the final  border to finish the quilt top with style.

Find out how to do simple machine quilting, too.

We are almost done!

You’ll be so proud of your new quilt. To add the final finishing touch… I’ll show you how to create your own custom quilt label with your name on it!  Adding a custom quilt label makes your ‘hand-made’ quilt an heirloom treasure!

Soon, you’ll have exactly what you need to start your own first quilt!

Now, if you have tried quilting before and became frustrated due to a lack of clear directions – that’s all in the past!

Don’t wait! Get this book so you can go back and finish that quilt you started! Soon, you’ll enjoy loving praise for creating the beautiful ‘hand-made quilt’ of your dreams!

I’ll do everything I can to help you finish your first quilt in record time!

"..It helped me to make my first quilt."

"I decided one day I wanted to make a quilt. So I went out and bought a sewing machine. Then I went to the fabric store and bought a pattern and the required materials listed on the package. The clerk at the store told me it was an easy-to-follow pattern (they must not know what easy means lol).

So instead of giving up, I decided to look for clarification on what I should be doing and found this site. It was great and helped me to make my first quilt. I just wanted to say thank you for making this site. I am 25 years old and a stay at home mom with 3 kids ages 8, 3, and 1. Thank you so much for your site!!!!!!!!!!

Secrets of Selecting Fabrics

For starters, there’s the issue of quality. Do you know how to choose the best fabrics for your quilt?

Many beginners have a hard time with this. Some become discouraged and give up. I don’t want that to happen to you. That’s why I’m spilling the secrets on how to select the best fabrics for your hand-made quilt. You will easily educate yourself about fabric, so you won’t make costly mistakes. And you’ll definitely have more fun!

I Want To Tap into My Artistic Abilities!

Look, I know you’ve probably purchased other quilting books and patterns in the past, and you’re probably wondering ”What’s so different about Conquer the Quilt?”

The answer is something I’ve learned from my many years of quilting.

Many people purchase quilting products but few can figure out how to sew quilt blocks without exact instructions. The reason why I created this beginner’s quilting package is because I felt saddened by the many quilters I knew that had given up on the craft.

Why did they quit? Because they were frustrated with the incomplete instructions! After they spent hours and hours tearing out seams, wasting fabric and having their patience tested, they didn’t have the heart to create anymore!

Don’t let that happen to you!

Instead, use my expertise to guide you through the many steps of sewing your first quilt. Once you have one quilt under your belt, the next one is so much easier!

Try It For Free for 60 Days!

With that said, I’m not going to charge you any more than I would be willing to pay. Your investment in your quilting hobby is just $27. That is a fair and reasonable price, don’t you think? And the $27 investment will seem very well spent!

I found the instructions very easy to follow and your obvious enthusiasm is very inspiring! Will send you a pic once I have finished my quilt, thanks again.

"It's very refreshing to just read the basics."

"I LOVE your site. I've wanted to teach myself how to quilt for a long time but have been somewhat intimidated by it, so I never took the time. Like you, so many of the books seem confusing and I've just gotten frustrated with them.

Your site is so straight forward. It's very refreshing to just read the basics. As a beginner, that's all you need. The rest will follow. I LOVE your site and thank you so much. I'm so glad I stumbled onto it. Keep up the good work.

"Your Instructions Are Excellent and So Encouraging!"

"Hello, I just found your site by chance, and because I have spent so much money on classes, fabrics, and books etc., I still could not produce anything worthwhile. I gave up and put everything away. Now I am retired, in an apartment, just lost my 21-year-old grandson to cancer, and desperately looking for something to fill my time and ease the broken heart.

I decided to try and find a site that I could follow, and there you are! I am going to get a new sewing machine as mine is packed away in a basement with some of my other things that I lost interest in. It was old and needed servicing. The local store has a good sale on machines and I think all I need is a basic machine. So tonight I am going to get out the fabric and all the other gadgets I bought and start again.

A friend told me an angel will help you to get something to fill your time and come disguised as someone else!!! I dismissed this, I am ashamed to say. Now I think it is true. I will let you know how I get on with the sampler quilt. Who knows, I might one day manage a big quilt. Thank you so much. Your instructions are excellent and so encouraging!!
