As you may already know, FOREX is the acronym for "The Foreign Exchange Market." This market concerns itself with the buying and selling of the currencies of just about every country on earth. This market is BIG! So big, in fact, it's hard to wrap your mind around the size of it.

It operates through an electronic network of people, banks and companies that specialize in trading one currency for another.

Now chew on this: Because the FOREX does not have a physical location or a central exchange, it is able to operate on a 24 hour basis leap frogging from one time zone to another across the major financial centers of the world. The FOREX market actually follows the sun around the globe... because... as one country is closing for the day, another is just opening up. This market is open 24 hours a day, six days a week from 5:00 PM Sunday (East Coast Time) to 4:00 PM Friday (East Coast Time). This 24 hour access combined with its huge trading volume makes this...
There Is No Insider Trading!
Because of the vast size of the global FOREX market and its non-centralized nature, there is no chance whatsoever for disruptions caused by insider trading. There is less chance for fraud in the FOREX than in any other investment market.

The Business of Trading
Treating Forex trading as a Business is the best way to sum up my approach to trading. Every principle and idea from my teachings ultimately refers back to the notion that forex trading is a business and should be approached as such. In the final analysis, business is simply the effective management of cash flow. A successful business generates more cash than it consumes. This is the goal of trading as well.
You will be freed from dealing with employees and the problems associated with managing employees, you will not be distracted by absenteeism, withholding taxes, EEOC rules and regulations, and disgruntled employee law suits. The only relationships you must manage are between you and the markets, and between you and yourself.
If you think of trading as a business and realize that you have to make an investment into the business both in terms of education and equipment (computer and software), it puts everything in perspective and will help you enormously as a trader.
The amount of information out there is overwhelming.
The problem with the vast majority of the information being peddled on the net is that they come from people who have never earned or couldn’t earn their living as traders.
I learned the hard way both as a student and as a mentor. When I first started trading forex, there was little or no information on how to trade, what to look out for, when to trade and when not to, etc... I went through the school of hard knocks until I met my mentor who guided me through the shark infested forex market.
Within months I was able to wipe out months of frustration and mounting losses, simply because of being guided by someone who knew what they were doing.
It took me years to understand what had changed and how within a couple of years after meeting my mentor I was managing a million dollar account. I hope I can share with you my realizations and knowledge.
