Can I use my own images for the 3D cover graphics? Yes you can turn any image into 3D. You just need to upload your own images and graphics to easily create a professional looking 3D cover. I am on MAC. Can I use your cover generator software? Yes, the ecover generator is a web-based software and therefore you can use it with any operating system. It does not matter if you are using MAC, Windows or Linux. The software is platform independent. Can I use the generated Covers for print publications? There are around 200 Cover Types in 72dpi resolution for web usage. With the High-Res Generator you can create 300dpi Cover Graphics with transparent Background suitable for Print Publications. How many Covers can I create with your Software? As long as you are a member you can create as many graphics as you want. There are no limitations. What is the final size of the 3D cover graphics? The rendered 72dpi 3D cover graphics have a final size of approx. 600x800 pixel.
The 300dpi cover graphics have a final size of approx. 3000x3000 pixel and
can be used for full page prints. How many 3D Cover Shapes are included? Currently there are around 220 different Web Cover Graphics you can choose from and around 40 different Print Cover Graphics. What is the file format of the rendered 3D Covers? You can save the cover in .PNG format with transparency. Almost all covers (except the Covers with Reflections) are having a transparent background so you can easily add them to any background or you can combine different covers to create multi-product presentations. All Print Cover Graphics have a transparent background. Do I need to have Photoshop or another Graphic Design Software to use the Cover Generator? There is no need for any third-party graphic design software. You can simply use our Online Image Editor to create your graphics. What is the max. filesize of a cover graphic I can upload? We recommend a max. size of 50-150KB per image. If your source graphic is larger you can simply use the Online Image Converter to resize the graphics and images. For the Print Covers you can upload files of up to 10MB per image. Can I create 3D Covers with Reflections? Yes, several Cover Graphics have photo-realistic Reflections. Can I download your software and use it on my own computer? eCover Go is a web-based software and there is no need to download or install the software on your local computer. All you need is a browser with installed Flash Player Plugin and an internet connection. Can I upload my own images into the Online Image Editor to incorporate them into my Cover Designs? Yes, you can upload your own graphics and images in .GIF/.JPG/.PNG format and customize them to suit your needs. I am not very experienced when it comes to graphic editing. Is your Online Image Editor Software easy to use? Yes, the Online Image Editor is very easy to use even if you have never used a graphic design software before. What do I need in order to use the Online Image Editor? All you need is a browser and internet connection and the Adobe Flash Player Plugin installed. We recommend a broadband or DSL connection. I am using a MAC. Can I use your Online Image Editor too? Yes, as long as you have the Adobe Flash Player Plugin installed you can use the eCover Generator and Online Image Editor. We have tested with Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox 2/3. Do you have a manual and help video on how to use the Image Editor? Yes, within the Member Area you will find a manual and a learning video. What is the file format of the Cover Graphics? You can save your cover graphics in .JPEG/.JPG format. If you need your cover in a different file format just use our Online Image Converter to convert between different graphic formats (.PNG/.GIF/.JPG) What is the max. filesize of a graphic I can upload to the Image Editor? You can upload images with a size of up to 2MB, although in most cases it is not required. How can I convert an image or graphic to another format?
