What exactly is there to do?
Hello! My name is Mike Drecker and I have been living and working in
the Canary Islands since 2003. I have been asked "Can you tell us what
there is to do ?" many times in the years I have spent in Gran
Canaria.
I started researching this guidebook after a conversation one
afternoon with a customer in a bar that I was working in at the time.
He had asked about things to do and we discussed the more well known
beach based activities that are available in most coastal tourist
resorts. I then suggested a few of the lesser known activities I knew
of that existed away from the beach and that is when I started to
write a list.
That was in the middle of 2010 and now, after almost 18 months of
research, I have uncovered enough information to include in my
guidebook. It is literally an A- Z of sports and activities that are
available here in Gran Canaria, complete with descriptions . It also
includes clickable links to over 100 websites, plus contact details
for those activities that do not have active websites.
