The large majority of these books are pre-1970. They do not have barcodes. You cannot discover which ones they are with a scanner. They look like every other children’s book. They are not old or leather-bound. They are not first editions. Sometimes they are beat-up, ex-library books.
You need to know the titles or authors. And guess what? The list changes because the large demand will sometimes bring a book back into print. Our lists are updated every 6-12 months.

What’s in the Book Lists
Each book list contains the top 100 chapter or picture books that consistently sell over $30 on eBay. That’s 200 books total.
One list is sorted alphabetically by author, and includes complete titles with copyright year, illustrator (picture book list only), publisher, price range, number of times the book sold and average price.
One list is ranked by average price so you can see which titles bring in the most money.
One list is ranked by number sold so that you can see which titles are “hot” and would do well at auction.
One list is sorted alphabetically by title. This list is condensed to fit on one page so that you can carry it with you. This is your “cheat sheet”.

What’s NOT in the Book Lists
These lists are for booksellers who buy at booksales, thrift stores, estate sales, eBay arbitrage, etc.
We have not included books that only sell high if they are early editions, such as Dr. Seuss, Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew series. Those books are covered in other guides and you probably already know that the older ones are valuable. They are also very difficult to identify because they have been printed in so many versions.
