The WP-MLM plugin works by creating tracking links for every user of
the system, when a person clicks on one of these special links they
will be taken to your site and when they decide to register to use the
system they will be placed into the next available spot in the matrix
below the person who referred them to the site. Then they will be
given their sponsor's link to the opportunity you are promoting who is
directly above them in the matrix to sign up in the business you are
promoting.
If a user comes to your site without a referring link, such as when
someone finds your site on Google or another search engine, they will
be placed into the next available position in the matrix from top to
bottom left to right, this will allow everyone who uses your site to
benefit from the traffic it receives.
FLEXIBILITY
Because every program or opportunity is different we created WP-MLM
to be flexible allowing you to set several variables, the initial
width of the matrix, the maximum width of the matrix, and the number
of referrals to the site to open up a new leg in the matrix. This

person wide matrix with a 3 referral qualifier and a maximum width of
5.
This setup would start everyone out with a matrix that they can only
sponsor 2 people on their front level, then after referring a 3rd the
fourth referral would then to on their front level as a 3rd leg with
the process repeating for the 4th and 5th legs after they have
referred 3 new referrals each time.
Maybe you want a straight line downline? Easy, just us a 1 wide
matrix with a maximum width of 1 and a qualifier of 1. How about a
10 wide, 200 max width matrix with a 39 qualifier? OK kinda weird, but
you can do it.
