The Defined Term Sleuth
Check defined terms in any type of legal contract or other legal document with the Defined Term Sleuth, a legal software add-in for Microsoft® Word 2007. It helps lawyers, contract managers and paralegals avoid costly legal drafting errors.
The Defined Term Sleuth scans each page of a document and shows and helps fix errors such as:
Defined terms referenced in the definitions section but not used within the body of a document Use of defined terms that have not been properly defined Creation of more than one definition for a single defined term
The Defined Term Sleuth checks defined terms, highlights each mistake found and suggests corrections to help avoid wasted time, money and complications arising from defined term errors.
How the Defined Term Sleuth Works
Simply download the product and open any document in Microsoft® Word 2007. Click on "Add-ins", and then click on "Defined Term Sleuth". In the box that appears, simply click on the characteristics of your defined terms, such as bold, underlined or italic font. Then click on "Total Document Scan" or "Word-to-Word Scan", and the Defined Term Sleuth will highlight errors for you. It's that easy!
