Have you ever been to a course, workshop, conference etc and just
leave thinking wow?
To be completely honest with you up until mid last year I didn’t
know a whole lot about pelvic floor muscles. And I’m a trainer. I
knew they were muscles but I didn’t know just exactly how important
they are to the functioning of our body. That is until I attended
Exercise and the Pelvic Floor – a forum for health and exercise
professionals organised by the Pelvic Floor First initiative,

CLIMBING MY WAY TO NEW FITNESS HEIGHTS

Beware – once you try Indoor Rock Climbing you will not want to
stop. I had the bruises to prove it!
I had always wanted to try rock climbing, but was too chicken to try.
I imagined gripping for life onto little plastic shapes on the wall
and falling to my doom, or at least a very hard surface!
But that was then and this is now. Now I jump at trying new things.

FAT IS NECESSARY - YES, I SAID FAT

LADIES - FAT IS NECESSARY! Now i’ve got your attention.
One of the many physical differences between women and men is the
greater amount of fat that women carry; this softens the outline of
the muscles, rounding out the surfaces while creating characteristic
folds and grooves.
Fat in normal women represents approx between 18-20% of body weight,
whereas in men it only represents 10 – 15%. Posted in , |
VEGGIE SLICE - YUMMY HOT OR COLD!

The below recipe is an adaptation of my mum's veggie slice, I asked
her for the recipe but like most good dishes she makes it up as she
goes and doesn't have it written down. So a few months ago I decided
to give it a bash. It is one of my favourite dishes. I make a nice big
batch and it lasts for dinner and a few lunches after that. It tastes
lovely hot or cold. It's packed with vegies and eggs for protein, a

OPERATION RE-DECORATE – PART 1 = PAINTING!

Months ago I set myself a work target and my reward for working
solidly and achieving my goal was giving my bedroom a facelift. New
paint, new carpet and new furniture - the works.
After successfully completing my goal I took myself to the shops and
chose my new paints, carpet and furniture – I was excited!
