everywhere. And you know how that stuff reeks.
Like a Japanese whaling ship.
Yeah – great car for picking up girls. Not.
I dearly wanted to take that sucker out the back and riddle it with
my UZI
(yeah – I'm a gun-nut).
I promised myself when I started in Internet Marketing that when I
made my first bit of “real” money I'd treat myself to a killer set
of wheels.
Without the extra "character."
2 YEARS LATER..
I'd always had my eye on an Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black. Carbon
fiber body panels. 6 liter V12. 510 brake horsepower. 0 to 60 in 4.3
seconds. Good for 191 MPH. Six-speed manual gearbox. Carbon Ceramic
Matrix (CCM) brakes. Fully loaded. $271,660. Comes with a change of
underpants.
So that's why I was standing in the Aston Martin showroom with a
$10,000 deposit – in cash in the pocket of my cargo pants.
Yeah I could of withdrawn the whole $271k from the bank if I'd
wanted. Or written a check. But I thought $10k in cash might give me
some leverage. Or maybe I could unload the Fishy Camry as a trade-in.
LOL.
And I didn't want to take the whole $271k in case I got mugged. And
anyway the bank would probably want to fill out a S.A.R.
Know what that is? “Suspicious Activity Report”. The banks are
required to send those to the government in cases where they think the
customer is up to no good.
And I guess a young Dude in jeans and hoodie asking for $271k in cash
might raise a few red flags. Didn't help that I'd just pulled an
all-nighter online either.
I had dark circles under my eyes and I really must have looked like I
was a drug-dealer or something.
That's what the car salesman thought too.
First he ignored me while I stood by the car.
Then he got downright hostile when I opened the door of the Aston and
sat behind the wheel.
“Hey!” he goes...”get out of the car...NOW!”.
“Is this one sold?” I go.
“You can't afford it!” he snaps back.
So I just pulled the $10k out of my pocket. And thats when he said -

WTF. There must be a law against that. That's straight-out

I tell you, if I hadn't had my heart set on those wheels I would have
