in the basement that will do just fine for now'.
So sure enough Jim went along the following Saturday to his local
golf store and when he
arrived he got talking to the pro golfer that helped run the store.
Jim told the pro that he
wanted to get fit up with some golf clubs and asked him his advice.
The golf pro said if you're thinking of taking this sport seriously
then I would suggest that you get measured up correctly for your
clubs.
We have a small range out the back where you can try out a number of
different clubs until
you find the ones that are right for you.
A couple of hours later Jim walked out of the store with a smile on
his face and a set of
custom made clubs that were just right for his particular swing, Jim
was a happy chap.
That evening Jim rung Don and told him about his experience at the
golf store. Don said 'I'm
not paying out for new golf clubs, there's nothing wrong with the ones
that I have.
Jim said no problem, if that what you want to do and they made
arrangements to play a
game the very next day.
The next morning Jim and his best pal Don turned up at the golf
course for their game of
golf. 18 holes later Don turned to Jim and said tell you what buddy
were going to need a bit more practice at this.
After making arrangements for another game that weekend they both
went their separate
ways.
In the car park Jim got talking to the course pro and mentioned that
he had just started and
his game could do with some considerable improvement. The pro said 'I
can help you out
there Jim' and offered to give Jim some lessons at a discounted price.
Jim agreed and they
made arrangements for their first lesson.
That evening Jim called Don and told him about his lessons with the
pro and would he be interested in joining him? Don said 'no thanks
mate, I'll just carry on practicing on my own'.
Do you see where I'm going with this?
By the time the pair met up for their next game of golf, Jim had had
a number of private
lessons with the golf pro and was hitting the ball straight as a dye
down the fairway. While
Done was only getting more frustrated with himself and the fact that
