Kids And Mobiles eBook My daughter asked us for a mobile
phone when she was 8. Our answer was "when you are old enough to pay
for the bill you can have one." We weren't very popular for a while
but she soon got over it. Her question prompted me to look into kids
owning mobile phones.
By the time she was 11 we thought that she was responsible enough to
own one. You can read my story in my eBook - A lesson learnt the hard
way!

I decided to write this book because the research that I did on
Mobile phones and kids just didn't answer my questions. It took months
of surfing the net, reading reviews, books and newspapers, chatting on
forums and talking with phone companies to gather all the information
compiled in my book.

Finally I put all the hard work together along with my experience
with my daughter and published this book . It covers Mobile Phones,
Safety, Responsibilities, Different phones for different ages, Phone
Plans, Limited phones, Internet, Questions to ask when buying a mobile
and much much more........

Only you can make the decision on when to give your child a mobile
phone, but this book will guide you through what I feel are necessary
steps to take involving mobile phones and kids.

Below are responses from people who have purchased my eBook,
Kids And Mobile Phones (When Should I Get My Child A Mobile Phone?)

Thank you Jen and Tarsha, Love the illustrations (well done). I have
been asking myself what's the right age to get my child a mobile
phone, my son is 12 and has been bugging me for about 6 months. I
thought your book was great and filled with heaps of helpful
information. I especially liked your story. A lesson learnt the hard
way. I also have learnt from your lesson. My son plays a lot of
football and after reading your book I have decided to let him have a
mobile but only prepaid. I would like to thank Tarsha for her Mobile
Tips for Kids ebook. I have downloaded it and printed it and it will
be given to my son with his mobile.

Many thanks again

Jen and Tarsha thank you both for all the information that you have
supplied in your books. It has been very helpful and helped sort out
the right mobile for our daughters. I didn't realise there was so many
options for so many age groups.

This eBook operates with Microsoft window Operating system and
Microsoft internet explorer. Conventional wisdom suggests that a
child should get a mobile when they are mature enough to handle the
responsibility. In general terms, high school seems to be when
students start to display maturity, but every child from the age of 7
wants a mobile phone with most of them owning one by the time they are
15.

A recent Telstra survey stated that 7 out of 10 parents said they
would be sending their child to school in 2011 with mobile phones.
Only 1 in 5 of those parents had spoken to their child about mobile
safety.
In this digital world we live in kids of all ages are being given
mobile phones and laptops, but some parents are neglecting to equip
them with the tools to use them safely.
Would your child know what to do if they were approached by a Cyber
stranger? What would your child do if they were Cyber bullied?

More and more I am hearing about kids being put in dangerous
situations because they don't know about mobile safety.
I can't stress enough how important it is to protect our children in
this digital world.
Be a responsible parent and teach your child mobile safety and
responsibilities.

There is a good and bad side to most things, including owning a
mobile phone.

The good is that they are able to contact us in case of an emergency
and we can contact them, giving us parents peace of mind in this
somewhat ill minded society we live in.
A mobile will also increase your child
