THE ONLY WEALTH BUILDING BOOK YOU WILL EVER NEED.

Wealth Building Through Home Construction

Whether you’re young and in need of a new affordable home or looking for a rewarding project that returns your investment quickly, home building grants you the self sufficiency that has become so attractive in an economy that seems to take your future out of your hands.  With this book, it is my hope to deliver control back into the common man’s hands.  It is my conviction that there is nothing so gratifying or immediately financially rewarding as building your own home.  This idea may seem romantic but more so it is representative of a distinctly American ideal: that of self reliance.  In my book I outline the steps necessary to cut out unnecessary dependency on builders and avoid irresponsible and unreliable subcontractors.

There is no real mysticism surrounding the independent construction of a home, only a lack of available and pertinent information.  It is my goal to make this information widely available and do my part in restoring the autonomy of the American dream. I am going to give you the knowledge and tools to successfully realize your dreams of creating sustainable wealth in 4 to 6 months using this tried and true formula for success.

There is a grand misconception surrounding certain skills in our modern times. This misconception is that only specialists may possess these skills and use them to their benefit. Or that it is easier and more affordable to let others do your work for you. People buy prebuilt furniture that  with just a little knowledge could be built independently. They hire specialists to handle even simple problems around their home because they cannot be troubled or slowed to learn the skills themselves. This is of course understandable. Our economy is based on specialization and service. Complete independence would be undesirable in a world with such complex and inexplicable connections, whether natural or economic.

Yet so many people decide to forgo the acquisition of any real constructive skill. I mean constructive in the most literal sense. No one seams to be able to build anything. I hope to, in part, put this ability back in people’s hands.

There is a profound pleasure and satisfaction tied to the independent construction of a home.  In fact, you don’t have to lift a hammer to do this.  This skill is one that requires the help of many skilled partners: architects, carpenters, electricians, etc.  But it is a misconception that you cannot bring these people together yourself.  It is a misconception that you cannot take control of a venture such as this and feel the satisfaction when a home, whether to be sold or lived within, begins to rise from the ground.

It is my greatest goal in the writing of this book that others will learn that they share this desire to construct something, that others desire to see the tangible efforts of their labor without feeling that they have to labor alone.  This book explains in detail the steps necessary to build a home independently, correctly and without the unnecessary involvement of builders, speculators, or unfamiliar businessmen.  Leave the building to the men with hammers, the men who know how to run wires, and lay the pipes.  Be the one who brings these men together and reap of the rewards of the effort you sow.

I truly can not think  of a better wealth improvement formula than building a new home. Think about it. What else can you do in four to six months that will create as much equity or cash than building a home. The minute you have completed a home you will have generated 20 to 25 percent equity from this asset. On just a $200,000 dollar home that's $40,000 to $50,000 dollars. How else can you make that kind of money in four to six months. Believe me, this is something any body can do with the right knowledge and tools. You don’t have to quit your full time job (if you still have one) because this can be done on a part time basis and I will give you every thing you will need to get started right now. Just think what you could do with an extra $40,000 to $50,000 dollars in your bank account. I know of one guy who has done this 15 times and has made over $600,000 dollars in the last seven years. So get started today, make 2011 your wealth building year.

Financial peace of mind

Building your own home is an ideal dream for most people. It conjures up thoughts of perfection, splendor and excellence in a world where such qualities seem increasingly deficient. The disadvantages are few and far between, while the advantages are bountiful. There will be obstacles to overcome and compromises to make along the way but these will pale into insignificance once the job is finished and knowing that you have just created a real financial asset to keep or sell...

The Financial Incentive

The expectation of those undertaking a self-build project is that it will cost less than buying from a traditional development builder. If anything, this assumption only partly discloses the full extent of potential savings. Much depends on seeing the whole picture and having the definite knowledge to fulfill your dream of building your own home. By following the steps in this book you can save as much as 20 to 25 percent of the market value of a new house and build substantial wealth in the process.

The Guarantee of Quality

'

If you want something done well, do it yourself.' This adage is true when applied to self-build. No one will provide more care or attend more fully to your needs, requirements and standards than you. Builders must approach the construction of residential property within the confines of commercialism. They are restricted by time and motivated by profitability. You are free to adapt such limitations according to need and therefore can determine the amount of time and money spent on achieving the quality you desire.

Using Personal Skills

Half the battle in deciding whether to build your own home, quite simply is knowing the critical steps to building a new home and having enough desire and ambition to see it through to completion. This book will give you all the necessary tools and documents you will need to successfully build your new home. If these are available in sufficient and easy to understand steps, all things can be achieved. This book is not about hammering nails or knowing residential codes. This book is about using 100% subcontractor participation. This book is about successfully following the outlined steps in this book necessary to build a home no matter how big or small because they all follow the same steps no matter what the costs are. You do not have to know the intricacies of building a home because your subcontractors will have this knowledge. Henry Ford once quoted “why should I clutter up my mind with general knowledge when I have men around me who can supply any knowledge I require”.

Maximizing Property Value

Your property value will be enhanced by the very fact that you have chosen to build the house yourself. The buying publics are becoming increasingly aware of self-build homes and recognize that these dwellings usually benefit from having a higher specification than others on the market. They tend to be constructed carefully with better materials and, importantly, with attention to detail. The value is often also augmented because the property is unique. Although it may be comparative in size to neighboring homes, it is likely to have a style and appeal all of its own.

Constructing with the buying public in mind can increase the property's value. Consider carefully the elements and features that house buyers find attractive and absorb these into the design so that, when you eventually come to sell the property, it will have instant appeal and attract wider attention. Developers invariably research this subject thoroughly before constructing new homes. You can learn from them by visiting show-homes in your area, assess the features they have incorporated in their designs and transfer some or all to your own project.

Remember the old Chinese proverb "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed a man for a lifetime". Well same holds true to the wealth building formula. I want to teach you how to build wealth for a life time.
