Hi!

First of all I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Madalina Blaga and first and foremost I am a parent and a child lover.

Since I was in highschool I felt attracted to studying psychology in general, and child psychology in particular.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology, and have also studied pedagogy, in order to understand children better.

Our kids grow up before your eyes.

We do our best in raising them and teaching them the life-lessons that will contribute to their hapiness.

But being a parent is not all about doing pleasant stuff.

Sometimes you have to be the bad guy, for your child’s own good.

As a young parent, I confronted some situations that were not quite as easy to handle.

Asking the people around me for solutions actually made me even more confused.

One of the dilemmas I came across had to do with Santa Claus.

How would I tell my kids the truth?

Anybody can tell them the truth, but there are so many aspects to consider:

- make sure they won’t hate you for breaking the spell
- explain to them the symbol of Santa Claus and Christmas, a symbol that must live on
- they must not be angry at you for having lied to the all these years
- should they go spread the word?
- transform his joy of WELCOMING Santa Claus into the joy of BEING Santa Claus
- the implications of believing

Don’t rush into telling them the truth, talk things over with your spouse and adapt the content of this e-book to your own family and situation.
