ABOUT THE ALBUM

"Holiday Guitars" is a delightfully hypnotic collection of classic
Christmas songs. Bluesy bottleneck slide and percussive, melodic
guitars. Imagine an impromptu instrumental yuletide jam session
between Ry Cooder and Leo Kottke. "Holiday Guitars" begins with a
driving rendition of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," and closes with
the starkly beautiful solo baritone slide of "Amazing Grace." Other
treats along the way include a sleepy Hawaiian-tinged "Silent Night,"
and a humorously reggae-styled "Jingle Bells."

ARTISTS BIOGRAPHIES

Gavin Lurssen produced this collection of songs and played acoustic
guitar and acoustic baritone guitar.

Gavin is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where
he majored in Film Music Composition. He is a three-time Grammy Award
winner. Gavin’s other albums include “Restless” and “Native
Son”.

Brian Robbins arranged the songs and played acoustic guitar, acoustic
bottle slide and acoustic baritone slide.

Brian is also a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA
where he majored in Film Music Composition. Albums include “On”
and “Banned in the State of Utah”.

Both he and Gavin are based in Los Angeles, CA.
