a tissue culture
from various parts of a medicinal herb plant
and cultivating new plants in an agar medium
that has been fortified with growth hormones and nutrients.

Except for the actual time spent in culturing these plants
I did not have to do daily watering and
maintenance until I hardened them off and put them outside.
