First, I'm not sure the term "Internet lease space" has ever been used before, I just made it up because it seemed to be a perfect match to what I had stumbled onto.



Secondly, I am not an "Internet guru" telling you that I have some kind "secret formula" that I invented. I am not a programmer or a web designer either. I am just a guy who was "toughing it out" in a bad economy trying to figure out how to make some money.

I was frustrated, sick and tired of struggling to make money and worried about my future. I needed something to "go my way". I needed a "victory" and was determined...

And Here's Happened...

I had some real estate that "tanked" and I was desperately trying to sell it to get out from under the huge note. I just had to figure it out myself…

So, this is what I did: I did a little reading up on how to get some basic exposure on the Internet with the least cost possible. (This is info ANYONE can research and find - very simple, no big secrets).

After getting the basic idea of what I had to do, I got a Local Domain (about 10 Bucks). Then, I got some pictures of my property, got a free web design off the Internet, and made a very basic one page website.

I hope you're not waiting for me to tell you that by the next day I had millions of dollars pouring in. That would be something you might hear from an "Internet Guru", but that's not reality. If you're like me, you've seen all that kind of hype before. And like me, you may have even bought in to one of those big "secret formulas" that's going to make you millions in a day… which only resulted in zero…


This Is Different
Here's the timeline: The first time I did this took me about 5 hours of trial and error. Sure, I didn't get it perfect the first time I tried, but after several attempts I had what I wanted. That first 5 hours of aggravation and learning how the template works (the design of the webpage I had). I am not going to "candy coat" it - it was torture. Very frustrating.But once I figured this out, it was a real turning point. Now it takes me about 15 minutes to put one of these up because I always use the same process which makes it really simple.


After my 1 page site was online, I started following some very basic steps to getting "exposure", none of which cost me anything. (I wasn't prepared to spend much money on this because I honestly did not have a lot of confidence it would bring any results).

Well, within about 2 weeks not only was my webpage getting exposure, my property was shown to potential buyers more in the third week than it had been shown in the prior 12 months. Within 6 weeks it was SOLD and the buyer came from my simple one page site.

And Here's The Most Amazing Part Of The Story...

The most amazing thing is after my property sold, a local real estate "flipper" that I knew called me and asked if I had any need for the webpage I put up. I replied, "…no not really, why?" His answer shocked me: He wanted to buy my webpage because it gets lots of good leads/potential buyers!

Remember what I said at the very beginning of this letter: "If you supply

He needed customers (the "commodity") and I had them – all by total accident!

Long story short, I decided NOT to sell him my page because it was at that very moment I realized this valuable space could be leased out to create a reliable, consistent monthly income!

And I knew this could be just the beginning... I could take this idea to ANY level I wanted!

Now, it may seem as though I was being a little "optimistic" with my calculations, but there is a reason for my optimism: The first time around was so quick and easy I saw no reason at all why I could not do it 50 times. Anyone could do what I did and anyone could do it 50 times just like I did. It was really quite easy. My friends were stunned and more than a little envious!

By looking back at what I had done that first time around I was able to pinpoint the key important steps I took that made it work the way it did. It was very simple.

I Think It's Important To Make A Side Note Here...

As I mentioned, I am not some Internet guru and have not followed any kind of "secret formula". I have run across the various "guru" ebooks, newsletters and stuff. After reading up on some of that I have to honestly say I think one of the reasons I am so successful is because I DO NOT do ANY of that complicated junk the "guru's" say to do. Actually, I am glad I didn't read that stuff before I started because I really feel it would have started me in the wrong direction and doomed my success. It's kind of like the bumble bee, which based on the science of physics should not be able to fly!

The Key To My Success Was Something That I Had Never Heard Of Before.

I didn't even know I was using it. It's called "local content". After a little research it became very obvious that "local content" on the Internet can be a very valuable commodity.

It's not complicated, "Content" is simply the information on your webpage. For my first page, the content was the basic information I had typed up about my property and the city. Real Simple.

But the real key is "local content", meaning content that is specific to a geographic location (a city). These days, as I've learned, local content is hot stuff.

I'll save you some time and fill you in on everything I've learned about "local content" so you don't have to spend your time researching it because I already did.

The Internet has definitely come "full circle". Do you recall when the Internet first exploded onto the scene? The experts were proclaiming that "…all shopping malls would eventually close down because people will buy everything online… the future of retail is doomed because no one will ever need to go shopping again." Well, we all know that never happened and never will.

What is happening right now is quite the opposite. People are using the Internet to locate where they want to go shopping, locate a good dentist, find car insurance, (or find a house like mine!) etc. They aren't using the Internet to buy everything in their life online. They are using the Internet to locate local businesses. They are doing it more than ever before and with the soaring use of iPhones and other Smartphones, local Internet visibility is very important to businesses.

So, what this means is local businesses are no longer worried about losing business to some online competitor on the other side of the world, they are worried about making sure they have a good local "presence" because they know customers are searching locally.

The bottom line: There's a ton of junk online about "local content", but it all boils down to the same thing. A site with specific local content can get tons of traffic and that becomes valuable "space" that easily can be leased out. All businesses need more customers and this is a very inexpensive way to get them.

If I had followed the "secrets" of the guru's I would have been trying to sell my property to the "whole world" rather than to the people who really want to buy it – local customers.


What made my 1 page site do well was that I had simply put a bit of "local content" about my property in my page. Again, TOTALLY by accident, but this resulted in a winner. By contrast, if I were trying to "sell to the world" it probably would have been a huge failure.

And this is not about real estate at all. This applies to ANY kind of local business. You should own a portfolio of local content pages ranging from dog grooming to wrecker services and everything in between. This great business is limitless!

Another thing this is NOT about is selling businesses "websites". Don't let this confuse you. I DO NOT and never have sold or made websites for businesses. I don't even know how to do that! What you will be leasing to businesses are simple, one-page, SINGLE PURPOSE websites. That SINGLE PURPOSE is to deliver customers. If the business needs a "company website" they'll need to call someone else. If they need CUSTOMERS, then you have what they need and they will pay you handsomely for it!
