Welcome to Carbine's Golf: a site for serious golf punters. This site is designed to allow access to all the weekly tips from one of the internet's leading golf tipsters who goes by the name Carbine. Carbine has been providing a small number of his tips on the forum of puntingace.com since 2006, and has produced a long-standing record of profitablity over that period.
In summary, Carbine's record in golfing matchups is as follows:
2006: 28 units at 24% profit on turnover,
2007: -7 units (-4% POT)
2008: 49 units (13% POT)
2009: 61 units (17% POT)
2010: 64 units (til the end of May, at 20% POT)
These are from the small number of published wagers ONLY (i.e. those that can be verified). The service produces many more wagers that are NOT published, and are available only to subscirbers. Moreover, the service is CUSTOMIZED FOR THE CLIENT, so that the analysis they receive covers bookmakers where they have an open and active account.

In previous years, selections have been limited to 72 hole matchups. However, in 2010 we have expanded the methodology to 18-hole matchups (both 2-balls and 3-balls). This allows the service to produce many more selections, hopefully increasing our ability to produce more profits for our clients. CLIENTS CAN EXPECT BETWEEN 10 AND 20 SUGGESTED BETS EACH WEEKEND.
Our background is in econometrics and quantitative analysis, and so the core of our methods are mathematically based. Overlaying this modelling, we filter the output on a qualitative basis, which we believe is a necessary part of the selection process. The aim is to produce a high number of positive expectation plays each week in order to produce relatively smooth, reliable profits in the longer term.
The service is available on a monthly subscription basis, and tips are sent to each customer via email well before any matches begin on Thursday(assuming the client has paid in time), and then prior to subsequent rounds with any further 18 hole plays. Tips will include mainly PGA and European tour events, but may also include Champions Tour, LPGA or others as they occur, and will include suggested wage size (prescribed in "units", and based on a suggested 100 unit bank). Also, the suggested wagers will be customized to enure that the analysis and suggestions include all the bookmakers that the client currently uses(we will be inciontact to get those details).
