* The Job Seekers Guide to Social Media
DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO FRUSTRATING FINDING YOUR NEXT JOB IN TODAY'S
ECONOMY?
WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THERE WAS A WAY TO BEAT THE ECONOMY, STAND OUT
FROM THE CROWD, GET UNSOLICITED JOB OFFERS AND CUT YOUR JOB-SEARCH
TIME IN HALF!
Dear Job Seeker,
Believe me, I know how hard it is out there right now. I’m not
going to pretend to have a silver bullet for you. There is no button
you can push to magically get interviews. There is no product or
service you can buy that get’s you a J-O-B with out some effort.
DO YOU ALREADY KNOW SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE KEY TO FINDING YOUR NEXT JOB?
If you are ready to get access to the most comprehensive Social Media
Training for Job Seekers available Right NOW, then skip this sales
letter and
ORREAD MORE to find out exactly how this program can get you Job
Interviews faster than anything else you can find in the market today.
However, if you are motivated to find your next job and willing to
take initiative, this information may be the most important you can
get your hands on right now.
The Census Bureau says 16 Americans for every job, but if you are an
experienced, educated professional, I think that number is more like
300 for every job. And have you noticed that people getting the jobs
you want are not necessary any smarter or better than you?
How do they do it? They get jobs because of WHO they know. It’s not
their resume, years of experience or anything else. People win at the
career-game because they work smart and run their job search like they
were running a business.
They do marketing, have a tag line that get’s remembered, they form
strategic alliances and they take advantage of Social Media channels
to grow a strong network of referrals.
ARE YOU EXPERIENCING THESE JOB-SEEKING FRUSTRATIONS?
* You KNOW you are qualified for the position, but you NEVER hear
back
* You get past a couple of interviews- then the position magically
DISAPPEARS
* You’ve invested in an MBA or other degree expecting the doors to
open, only to be disappointed by the total lack of opportunity
* You’ve been told that LinkedIn can help you network, but have
gotten ZERO interviews from it
* You are unemployed and running out of cash fast, the jobs are just
not there
* You are stuck in a lame job and feel trapped knowing how bad
things are these days
* You are looking for a job in a place you don’t live, and can’t
make connections
* You keep listening to the news how bad things are and you feel
hopeless, sad and dead-ended
AND I HAVE TO TELL YOUAT TIMES I THOUGHT I MIGHT GIVE UP
When I was laid off for my first time in 2008, I had an MBA, no
contacts and a family to feed. It was a very terrifying time, and I
was pissed off that I had spent all this money for an education and
got nothing from it. Well, that wasn’t totally true. I got
motivated, and started to investigate what makes a successful job
search.
I began to use the skills I had learned from the MBA program, from
working in corporations and from executive career coaches. It was
hard, but the interviews were starting to come, mostly from referrals.
I searched until I found a offer I liked and accepted it.
That was until I got laid off again, this time in 2009. It seemed
hopeless, but with plenty of job seeking skills, I began expanding my
knowledge and skills. I literally paid thousands of dollars of my
severance package to master Internet Marketing, Social Media and
Branding.
With these new skills, something amazing happened. I got offer after
offer. Some offers included a starting six-figure salary. Others
offered to pay my moving expenses to come work at their location.
DO YOU BLAME THE ECONOMY, OR DO YOU PULL YOURSELF UP BY THE SHOE
STRINGS?
I’m here to tell you that blaming the economy, corporate greed or
anything else for your job-seeking woes is the wrong path. A good
surfer knows he/she can’t change the tide, so they develop skills to
learn how to handle any type of wave break.
_->You Can Spray-and-pray Your Resume All You Want, But The Truth
Remains That The Smarter You Work Is More Important Than How Hard You
Work.
