If you are reading this page then, obviously, you know how to use
computer and the Internet.

Have you ever calculated how many mouse clicks you have to make to

If you have not here is a answer. It's 2 clicks and about 2 seconds
of time. To Paste that copied content it's 2 more clicks and about 2

No big deal, right? Make 20 copies and pastes a day. What? 80 clicks

google and check out websites listed on the first 3 positions in the
search result.
And make sure you count EVERY click you have to make (yes, including
mouse right button clicks) and check the time it will take to get that
search result and open each of the first 3 websites (just skip reading
them now, of course) listed for that keyword. I bet your numbers are
similar to mine or greater.
If you do at least 10 searches a day then it's not difficult to
figure out that you have to make at least 60 clicks and spend about 4
minutes of your time just on clicking. That's how much it takes just
to get the desired result and that's just for basic search task and in
just one search engine.
If you are doing deep online research and you want to check the same
keyword phrase in multiple search engines or other web resources (for
example, encyclopedia, dictionary, translations, blogs, news, maps,
shopping, etc.) it'll come to 100s of clicks and even much greater
