It took me over 15 years to compile the knowledge and wisdom contained in this book. I was a little girl that wanted to be loved and appreciated for who I was on the inside. Instead I got a harsh dose of someone’s unfair judgment. At that moment I convinced myself that I had to be skinny to be loved.

So I became a fanatic. I starved myself. I ate sporadically. I was obsessed about how I looked and I was incredibly insecure. Sure I looked good on the outside, but on the inside I didn’t have energy.

I was fatigued. Feeling guilty every time I ate. Craved and secretly ate junk food. 

...every time I looked in the mirror, every brain cell was SCREAMING, “BARBARA, YOU ARE SO FAT!!!”
