Hi, my name is Peter Samberg, I am a certified personal trainer and
owner of One on One FitStudio. Over the years I have learned that my
clients that get the best results are the ones that KEEP IT SIMPLE.

* Stop training like a body builder. Many men are still training
like bodybuilders even though their goals have changed from being the
"guy who can bench a lot" to "being the guy that can walk up the
stairs without passing out". Bodybuilding techniques are great, but
these work outs are great if your goal is to enter a Mr. Universe
competition. But for most men, what we want is to be lean, and cut. To
have muscle tone and burn fat.
* Core training is essential to overall physical fitness. Many men
neglect their core and focus on strengthening "BEACH" muscles. They to
crunches to get abs but neglect core strength. But training and
strengthen your core is essential to good posture and avoiding back
and joint problems. Afterall, your core is what ties together your
upper and lower body
* Many men think that if they are not spending 40-60 minutes, and
using heavy weights that they cannot get a good workout. This has been
disproven time and time again. By using a combination of High
Intensity Training and Circuit training, you can get more done in less
time. This means little to no rest and allowing your muscles to
recover while performing exercises for another muscle.
* My "Circuit style/No Rest" workouts are great for getting and
keeping your heart rate up. Keeping your heart rate up during exercise
is essential for heart health. With Heart Disease as the nations
