About Crusaders of Learning
Crusaders of Learning is a Learning Management System designed for the elementary and junior high students - appropriate for the instruction of K-12 students - and assists schools with their education, communications, and fundraising efforts.
Within Crusaders of Learning, teachers can create lesson plans that map to their own Educational Standards. The technology encourages performance based education and curriculum mapping, making it easier to report how today's rigorous educational standards are being met. Teachers post assignments and on-line tests, host discussions, grade assignments and tests, and efficiently communicate with parents and students with event calendars, status reports, and electronic forms like consent and permission requests. School subscriptions can even include their own on-line store.
For students, Crusaders of Learning will provide a central location where they can view assignment for their classes. They can review the event calendars for classes, clubs, and teams. They can participate in collaborations with other students, and shop on-line in the School Store. After downloading the SMART Bridgit software program from the web site to their home desktop, students can participate in on-line discussions hosted by teachers - even when they are home.
For teachers, Crusaders of Learning consolidates lesson plans and assignments in one spot where assignment submittals can be reviewed and are automatically tracked. Teachers can create on-line tests, host on-line chat rooms, monitor collaboration activities, and post to event calendars. The ability to review lesson plans of other teachers that they have identified as shared in one convenient location will facilitate networking with colleagues and the comparison of teaching methodologies, educational materials and research. After downloading the SMART Bridgit software program from the web site to their desktop, teachers host on-line virtual classrooms complete with voice and images over the internet with the ability to share desktops.
For administrators, Crusaders of Learning assists them in compiling educational standards and reporting on compliance within lesson plans. They can distribute Request Forms, and receive notification of Permission Slips.
For parents, Crusaders of Learning allows them to quickly assess their student
