Perquage Publishing is based at Beaucette on the beautiful island of
Guernsey within the Bailiwick of Guensey in the Channel Islands.
Guernsey is located 60 miles south of the English Coast, within sight
of the Island of Jersey (20 miles South East) and the Northern French
Coast of Normandy (27 miles West - fog and good weather permitting!).
Our products consist of Manuals, Books, eBooks, and DVDs. The

THE MEANING BEHIND "PERQUAGE" (PER-CAR-GE):
"Le Perquage" is derived from the french word meaning "sanctuary".
This had an extremely important meaning in the Island of Jersey during
the 16th century up towards possibly the 19th century. Imagine prior
to the introduction of the modern island wide Police Force, that
someone had committed a serious crime - such as adultery, or theft -
then an option available to the opportunist would be to seek sanctuary
in one of the ten Parish churches.
The fugative was allowed to stay in the church for a maximum of nine
days and was provided with basic food and water while a boat was
summonsed by his friends. Each church is connected to the sea by a
Douit (Do-it) which is a brook or stream. Before the nine days were
up, the fugative would have to leave the safety of the church and
follow the Douit to the sea. Provided he or she did not deviate from
the stream then the individual could avoid being arrested. The escape
would often happen under the watchful eye of a member of the clergy,
and occassionally the offended party! A safe one way passage to
freedom via a waiting boat would then be assurred.

We aim to ship all the physical products ordered and paid for within
7 working days (in the case of downloads this process is almost
instantaneous), however, during periods of heavy demand and
circumstances beyond our control (Easter, Autumn/Fall and Christmas
posting deadlines) please allow 28 days. For your reassurance certain
products are offered with a 30 day money back guarantee!!! During
periods of industrial action we shall try and deliver as soon as
possible our physical products.
On various products vouchers and gifts are offered as part of the
package, these come into effect 45 days after purchase. The offer
becomes null and void when goods have been returned undamaged within
the 30 day period.
