If you have spent time all over the internet then you probably know that there are scam artists out there that claim to have the real authentic handbags that you want. They guarantee that they will supply you with authentic designer handbags but when you purchase from them, you get ripped off by receiving replicas or fakes. Believe me, this has happened to me. From my own experience, at one point spent about $1,600 on two beautiful Prada handbags from a so called authentic wholesale supplier and waited more than 30 days to receive a package, only to find out that it was coming directly from China, with Chinese postal labels all over the box. Needless to say, the items were indeed fake and I returned them immediately for a full refund. The real nightmare began when I tried to enforce their return policy. Upon returning the merchandise and checking with them for the credit on my return, a very nice gentleman on the other side of the phone confirmed they had received my returned package and that the refund would be credited back to my credit card within 30 days as their returned policy stated. Having such a nice customer service rep, I felt at ease and confident that I would get my money back, but the 30 days went by and no refund was ever credited. The following times I called, being always friendly, they would make dumb excuses but always promised they were going to help me out to get that credit as soon as possible. Until one day, the same nice gentleman advised me that it would be better if I requested a chargeback on my credit card for that purchase. Fact is that these so called wholesalers really know how to get your money. The credit card companies only give you 60 days to start a dispute to request a chargeback on any purchase. Therefore, the scam artists take 30 days on their supposed return policy and another 30 days of nice and promising run arounds, so that you do not take any harsh action towards them until the 60 days have lapsed.
A GOOD ADVICE ON RETURN POLICY: Whenever you face a situation where you are not refunded right on time, no matter how nice they have been to you, go right ahead and start a dispute to request a chargeback with your credit card company before the 60 days from the day of purchase have lapsed and make sure that your payment is traceable and reversible if possible.
In addition, there are a lot of designer handbag wholesale lists or directories out there that promise you that they have the real suppliers that you need. Unfortunately, they are not worth the paper that they are written on. When you start looking at their contacts, you find out that they include the same companies that ripped you off and took your hard earned money.
