Hi everyone, my name is Jessica Wright and I'm from Cincinnati,

write this blog first as a journal for my personal use, but then
decided to post it
publicly. If my journey and story helps just one person it will be

How did I get my extra pounds in the first place?
Like so many other people, it starts with me having my first child.
When I had my
first son, I was sure the baby weight would come off. Months went
by, and I was
still holding onto an extra twenty pounds that would not go away. By
the time I
had my daughter, I was forty pounds overweight, and I didn't have a
plan to take
the weight off. The problem was always in the back of my mind, but
it finally
became something I had to address. I was doing some last minute
clothes shopping
to get ready for summer, and nothing fit. I had to keep going out in
the store for
bigger sizes. When did I become that size? I couldn't help but
wonder when I
gained so much weight. Suddenly I knew I had to do something.

I was looking for a way to lose weight,

1. Portion control! There is no reason

you are less likely to overeat. How crazy is
that? Just slow down, and enjoy the food.

I know that sounds silly, but we tend to
