With hair loss, there can also be a loss of self respect - a loss of dignity. There are people who will not hesitate to take advantage of your loss.
They will promise you that they can stop your hair loss - some even claim that their potion, oil, or pill will cause your lost hair to return!
They are counting on your desperation for a cure! The more desperate a person is the more willing they are to believe the sales pitch. Don't let your emotional pain from hair loss cause you to also lose your money!
Use your brain, not your emotions,
to fight hair loss!
You need facts not "tonics" and "lotions". Think about it: The more you know about hair the better prepared you are to prevent its loss.
There is more to your hair than meets the eye.
For example, Did you know that hair grows more than three eighths of an inch [10 mm] per month, and is one of the quickest developing parts of the body? When the growth of all the hairs is combined, it reaches more than 60 feet [20 m] per day!
What does that fact tell you? Your body uses a lot of nutrients to grow hair!
Now if you knew which nutrients your body used to grow hair - that would be knowledge you could use to:
make sure you were getting all those nutrients,
make sure you were getting them in the correct amounts, and
make sure that any tonic, shampoo, potion or cure you were considering was really going to help and not just some bogus offer to get your money.
For example, ANY product that claims to work by treating your hair is a waist of money. Only the roots of hair are actually alive, while the visible part of hair is dead tissue, and therefore unable to heal itself. It is vital then to take care of the scalp and body in order to perpetuate hair growth and maintenance. Expensive treatments that claim to treat the visible hair and nourish it therefore are usually no more than bogus claims made to sell products.
The more you know about hair and how it grows the better equipped you are to keep it growing!
If you knew that your shampoo was contributing to your hair loss, would you keep using it? Of course not! Do you know if your shampoo is contributing to your hair loss?

than any lotion or tonic!
