Tinnitus showed up in my life back in 1998. It was an un-welcomed visitor that almost gave me a nervous breakdown. And it made life at times a living hell for my husband and children.
You see I had a high level stressful job that I was proud of. But over time things started happening at my company that I had no control over. Bad things.
Come to find out the company I was working for was bleeding money due to fraudulent activities some of the staff were committing. And according to my doctors this situation at my job is what triggered tinnitus for me.
Funny thing is my doctors couldn’t really do much for me. My case was just so bad I’m convinced I was only months away from going crazy.
Some time later, my son developed a chest infection so I took him to a homeopathic doctor to treat this condition. While getting my son examined by the doctor I asked him about my tinnitus, wondering what his opinion would be. What happened next took me by surprise.
He said, "I've had excellent success in treating tinnitus. If we can establish the cause of your tinnitus, I believe we have a very good chance of dramatically reducing the tinnitus levels."
I started to perk up because this guy seemed to know more than the doctors I previously went to. So for the next half hour he quizzed me about my life, my job, my marriage, worries and other factors in my life.
Well after being asked a dozen questions this doctor concluded that the root cause of my tinnitus was exposure to noise, which led to cochlear damage and damaged nerve ending in my inner ear. And that my situation at my job triggered tinnitus to become active.
