You might think this is an extreme situation that I've exaggerated
to make a point in order to sell a book.
Well YOU COULDN'T BE MORE WRONG.
We get emails that describe the exact same situation day after
day, week after week, from people who are disillusioned, depressed and
ready to quit any dream of being an Internet Marketer they ever had!
Trying to compete with the big guys in IM is a fool's game. You're
never ever going to be able to put together anything on the same scale
or get it out to the same number of people as some guru with 1000
affiliates and a list of a quarter of a _million _ people.
How do I know?
Because I can't compete either.
Yet because I'm smart I've been in Internet Marketing for a lot of
years, and have seen the 'hotshots' come and go. I've seen high flyers

I don't want to and I don't _need_ to.

THE MARKETERS WHO ARE UP TO THEIR EARS IN MUCK AND BULLETS DIGGING FOR
GOLD.
I'll say it simply - why dig for gold yourself when you can make
much more money selling shovels to the guys who prefer to dig?
You're not conning anyone, pulling the wool over anyone's eyes or
exploiting anyone.
YOU'RE PROVING A LEGITIMATE SERVICE, PRODUCT OR INFORMATION THAT
PEOPLE WILL CRAWL OVER EACH OTHER TO GET TO, AND THEN PAY YOU
HANDSOMELY FOR THE PRIVILEGE.
This isn't a new concept by the way, it's an age old idea that has
always worked. The only reason more people don't do it, is that most
are taken in by the hypey sales pages and bells and whistles that make
up Internet Marketing.
And they're leaving a SHEDLOAD of money on the table by not doing
so. Even if your heart lies in pure Internet Marketing - in the 'how
to get rich quick' side of things, surely selling some shovels to
other marketers could pay the bills while you go full time?
