AdSpurt supports advanced boolean type searches for a more detailed search. Keywords should ideally be greater than 3 characters for the best search.
Examples:
apple banana - Find products that contain at least one of the two words.
+apple +juice - Find products that contain both words.
+apple macintosh - Find products that contain the word `apple`, but rank ads higher if they also contain `macintosh`.
+apple -macintosh - Find products that contain the word `apple` but not `macintosh`.
+apple ~macintosh - Find products that contain the word `apple`, but if the ad also contains the word `macintosh`, rates it lower than if the ad does not. This is `softer` than a search for '+apple -macintosh', for which the presence of `macintosh` causes the ad not to be returned at all.
+apple +(>turnover <strudel) - Find products that contain the words `apple` and `turnover`, or `apple` and `strudel` (in any order), but rank `apple turnover` higher than `apple strudel`.
apple* - Find products that contain words such as `apple`, `apples`, `applesauce`, or `applet`.
"some words" - Find products that contain the exact phrase `some words` (for example, ads that contain `some words of wisdom` but not `some noise words`).
Once you've found what you're looking for, a click creates the base ad with your CB or PDC affiliate link built in - you then just add a title and some words to go with it, and enter the keywords you want the ad to show for.
From then on, wherever those words appear in your content, e.g. on a self-hosted Wordpress blog or any other kind of site you may own, then it automatically gets turned into an ad.
You set up this auto ad creation by keyword by simply pasting a couple of lines of javascript somewhere near the foot of your page.

AdSpurt will present two kinds of auto generated links on your site.
Either double-underlined which displays a hover ad, or single-underlined which just looks like a normal link out.
One of the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) aspects of AdSpurt is that these links are generated "on the fly" by javascript in the visitors browser. This means that you can create links to other sites by keyword without diminishing the ranking of your own site.
To a search engine, it just looks like a page of on-topic and relevant text. Only your visitors see the links in their browser.
