LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR YOUR HOLIDAY LIGHTING BUSINESS

I talked to an insurance agent today about insuring my holiday
lighting business. He gave me some excellent advice:
1. Get enough to cover the worse case scenario. I am buying a $1
million aggregate policy that allows for two $500,000
occurrences/year.
2. Make sure that any subcontractors you use also has insurance that
meet the minimum requirements for you.
I am buying a general liability insurance policy that will cover
damages to the home including fire. If a sub gets injured, however,
then it's on them (worker's comp).
I used to get my quote, only took five mins and I had a local agent
call me the very next day.
I am waiting to hear back on the price (premium), but I'm expecting
it to be around $700/year. Let us know what kind of insurance you have
for your lighting business and what it covers or doesn't cover. Feel
