At the first sign of the flu or sore throat,
make some Jewish penicillin.
1 whole chicken, cut up.
3 whole onions cut up.
2 whole garlic bulbs cut up after
peeling the cloves.
Smash them first. They are much
easier to peel.
Cover the ingredients with water.
Cook for 2 hours. If left uncovered
part of the time, the garlic taste is
not noticeable. Pour broth into a
second pan. For each serving add
2 egg whites and cook about 3 to
4 minutes. Add seasoning to your
taste.
Eat this 4 or 5 times a day.
Drink unsweetened fruit juices.
Drink lots of water.
Eat nothing else.
Contact your doctor if fever or other
symptoms are a problem.
