Each week you will receive seven customized dinner suggestions like the ones below with photos and captions.  This sample menu includes vegetarian, beef, pork, poultry and fish/seafood selections.  Your weekly menu will be customized to include only the preferences you select.  Your menu will show check boxes next to each suggestion so that you can select only the meals you wish to prepare.  There will also be a drop-down list next to each suggestion so that you can even swap one or more suggestions with a previous week's favorite or with one of your own recipes.  The shopping list will automatically adjust to include the ingredients necessary for your selections.

 

 

Chinese Beef and Green Bean Stir Fry
This is better than at the Chinese buffet! The garlic, ginger and hot red pepper give this dish wonderful flavor with just a little kick. KID TIP: omit or reduce the red pepper if your kids won't like the "heat".

Sample recipe:Easy-to-follow instructions and fresh ingredients.   Chinese Beef and Green Beans Serving Size 4 ¾ lb. green beans 1 lb. beef flank steak, cut in thin strips 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp rice wine ½ tsp sesame oil ½ tsp sugar 4 Tbsp vegetable oil 2 clove(s) garlic 1 Tbsp ginger paste or fresh ginger ¼ tsp red pepper flakes 2 green onion(s), chopped   Instructions:
PREPARATION AND SAUCE
1. Trim the green beans and cut the beef into thin strips. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil and sugar; set aside.

GREEN BEANS
2. Heat half the vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Stir-fry green beans until browned and crisp-tender, about 7 minutes. Remove beans from skillet and set aside.

BEEF
3. Heat the remaining vegetable oil in same skillet. Add garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes; sauté only about 30 seconds, then add beef. Stir-fry until beef is cooked through, about 7 minutes.

EVERYTHING TOGETHER
4. Pour soy sauce and wine mixture over beef and stir. Return green beans to skillet. Add green onions. Stir just until well blended. Serve over rice.

Immediately after subscribing, a subscription confirmation page will appear where you will be able to immediately download pdf files containing your FREE 7-day "Summer Survival Daytime Meal Plan" and shopping list. This handy guide is free with your order, and helps make sure your cupboards are stocked with kid friendly ideas for breakfast, lunch and even snacks - great for kids at home during the summer.

On the next business day, you will receive a welcome e-mail containing a user id and password.  You may then login to DinnerSelect and customize your serving-size preference (2, 4, 6 or 8 servings) and your cuisine preference (poultry, beef, pork, fish/seafood, or vegetarian or any combination).



You will then receive a weekly e-mail, each Friday morning, during your subscription.  The e-mail will contain a link to your 7 dinner menu suggestions with recipes and a categorized shopping list.
