[57]FOR YEARS AND YEARS, I WAS SO UNSURE ABOUT MYSELF AND MY LIFE
THAT I WAS AFRAID TO GO TO SLEEP AT NIGHT.
I'd cry and cry, feeling so afraid and all alone, until finally I'd
be too exhasted to stay awake any longer.
I SEARCHED HIGH AND LOW FOR ANSWERS, from religion to metaphysics to
arcane studies and esoteric and shamanic displines. After a while,
though, I noticed that the sun really did come up every day, I did
wake up with it, and I was still alive. 35 years later, I found EFT

HOW WOMEN GOT TO VOTE [63]
A SHORT HISTORY LESSON ON THE PRIVILEGE OF VOTING
Maybe you've seen this article, but I think it's worthy for a
repeat.
The women were innocent and defenseless. And by the end of the
night, they were barely alive. Forty prison guards wielding clubs and
their warden's blessing went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly
convicted of "obstructing sidewalk traffic."
They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her
head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air.
They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an
iron bed and knocked her out cold.
Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a
heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing,
dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking
the women.
THUS UNFOLDED THE "NIGHT OF TERROR" ON NOV. 15, 1917, when the
warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to
teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared
to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right to vote.

really beautifully done set of videos. The Feng Shui series is really
well done, and very informtive. The art series is super inspiring for
those who want to get inspiration for starting, doing or continuing
their work as an artist - I watched them all!
