That way we would be protected against a big upside move against us,
which would wipe us out.

"From then, on every time the price of Wheat dropped 15 cents, we
leveraged our position, as you can see from the table below:

released margin, we turned a bit more conservative - we didn't double
the number of contracts we bought after we had 60.
"On September 1, the price of Wheat got down to 338.50 and we had a
paper profit of almost a million dollars. We decided that was way more
than plenty (we was actually getting very nervous that the god of
Hubris was going to smack us down if we got too greedy) and we sold
all our contracts the next day at 339 for a total profit of $973,500.
