If you've never been able to OBE or LD, or if you've had difficulty
doing them with consistency, this is for you.
What I like about it:
1. It's not filled with all types spiritual subjective beliefs. It
takes no stand on spiritual beliefs one way or the other. Very good.
2. It explains things from a biological, physiological perspective.
It shows you how to use the body's natural sleep patterns to enter OBE
or LD.
3. It has explanatory imagery. If you think this video is just audio,
it's not. It's visual.
And, it works!
It will take you near an hour and a half to go through the entire
presentation. You will find yourself going back to it again and again,
and again. Why? Because there's so much information packed into it,
you'll be asking yourself "What? Let me see that again." I know I did,
and still am.
Part 1 of the presentation covers how to go from Point A: laying in
bed to Point B: a full blown OBE.
Part 2 of the presentation covers WILD and has the best instructions
I've ever encountered. Very clear and concise.
How long before results?
I know everyone is different, but it took me about 2 weeks before I
could accomplish OBE from watching Part 1. That's not bad!
Support and questions?
There's a site called [...] where people can go to ask questions and
get help. So, it definitely gets 5 stars for "customer support."
TESTIMONIALS FOR THE METHODS ON THE VIDEO
The following are from posts various people made on the saltcube
forum and on other sites after trying the techniques described on the
video.
-------------------------
"This method works. I just did it for the second time (first time
didn't work) and I experienced multiple wakeups. E.g. I woke up and
got out of bed twice before I realized I wasn't actually waking up. On
the third try I got up and checked my deck of cards on the dresser
(which was what I was supposed to do to verify the RTZ location) and
got three out of four. (I already knew what the first one was going to
be but the other three totally threw me. Got one wrong, I think, but I
think I'm getting errors in download. I'm going to work more with this
exercise anyways.)
The effect was weird in that I could swear I was waking up but I
ended up not waking up. There was a dreamlike quality to the situation
too. Other than that WOOHOO!!! Thanks for a great method!!!
Jeez I hope I'm awake right now while typing this heh :)"
-------------------------
"I'm proud to say after many times of failed success I had a OBE
last night :-D. I used rhythm napping for the first time. It was
great, and am so pleased to have found this website with tons of
information. :-D"
-------------------------
"I woke up at 7:00 am. I was suppose to do the rhythm napping at
5:00 am, but turned my timer of and went straight to sleep. I then
decided to give it a try at 7:00 am. I woke up, went to the bathroom,
turned my laptop on and got my head phones on. I was on my back in
bed. I then started to just sit there and see go with the flow, and
try to fall asleep.
During the process I felt a lot of things such as my astral hands
and feet wiggling. I must have blacked out because when I woke up my
mind was awake and my body asleep. I felt a lot of energy at my hands
and feet. I think also my head. I new this was a perfect time to OBE.
I willed myself out and it seemed my feet were the first to go. Man
that feeling of getting out was amazing. I felt like jelly, slipping
out. I came out kinda sideways, and I saw that I was in my old room at
my old house.
There was a mirror in front of me and I tried looking at myself but
only saw some of me which looked like my normal body but then the rest
was fuzzy. I went through the hallway and floated. I went to the
backyard and saw my dog coming towards me. I tried going on the roof
but couldn't float. I have to learn to fly still, flying is always
hard for me. Then I saw a big blue butterfly hiding behind a tree.
Then everything gets weird. I get a false awakening but I still feel
my astral body is out. Then my false awakening ends, and I'm back in
my body with those heavy vibrations.
I will myself out and almost make it, I think my legs were going up
but then it stopped. That's when I woke up and was extremely happy
:-D. What makes me so happy is that this is actually the first time I
actually have an OBE when I want to, and not something that happens
randomly. Everything took an hour, but don't know what happened and
what time. When I woke up I saw I was at my first 20 minutes of the
OBE timer."
-------------------------
"Okay, this is what happened...
First some back info. OBE's I know of: intentionally from a lucid
dream, twice spontaneously on waking, and twice when observing myself
have a fairly serious accident. The intentional projection from the
lucid dream was very convincing for me, and so far the source of most
of my personal knowledge about the experience. There's a very distinct
feeling to it, not to mention that things seem more real than they do
while "awake". Anyway, I've been practicing daily and studying hard
for at least 6 months, meditating for over a year, and it's been quite
a journey. I have never been able to consciously project, however, and
all my previous experiences were random. I feel that once I am able to
take control of choosing when I project, to experience separation,
etc. I will be able to master it.
So we get to Matt's method.
I got a digital timer from Wal-Mart, set my normal alarm for 3
hours early. I went to bed feeling certain that I would have an OBE.
About 15 minutes before my alarm would have gone off (6 AM), I
found myself at work, fully conscious. I was kind of stumbling and
almost ran into someone seated at a chair in the foyer (at first I
thought the building was empty). When I looked down, I saw that it was
a woman. She looked so old she was cadaverous, her purplish-black hair
was piled on her head in that old beehive fashion. Her body and
features were twisted beyond what a living human ever should be. She
didn't look at me, but her eyes were open just a slit, and from them
this white fire leaked. I can't even come close to accurately
describing how hyper-real she appeared to me, or how utterly
terrifying she was. I got out of there immediately (I know how to
escape to the physical quite well) and I woke.
This experience was a bit different too, in that I could sense
inside me my subconscious or something, and this part of me was
completely unafraid (in fact, when I almost stumbled into the woman,
it said, "Now this I like!" before in my conscious horror I got out of
there). I also felt that this "lady" just wanted to be left alone, and
a kind of very real power emanated from her that subtly changed the
whole atmosphere.
So I woke up, shaken, but dealing with it easily enough (my
subconscious seems to have been doing a lot of conditioning for
meeting frightening things by how my dreams have gone in the past). So
I continued Matt's method.
I set the timer for 5 minutes. I couldn't fall asleep in the 5
minutes. When it went off, I set it for 10. When it went off next, I
was seeing through my closed eyelids, feeling like I was drifting
around a bit - but that alarm wasn't going to turn itself off, so I
snapped out of it. This happened twice, as well as briefly feeling the
vibrations. Then I messed up. Instead of doing 5, 10, 15, 25 minutes
like I should have, I did 5, 10, 20, 45.
In the end, this was highly successful for me compared to previous
attempts. I don't know if any of these count as "real" projections or
not, but I feel confident that I will continue to have great success
with this method (especially by doing it right the next time)."
-------------------------
"I tried this method again this morning. During the 15 or 20 minute
segment, I can't remember which, I had a very clear and colorful
dream. I was on a ship in the ocean. The color of the water was an
intense sea foam green color. It was beautiful.
During the first 25 minute segment, I had a lucid dream in which I
looked at my hands. The left one was not completely there. It had
started to fade. I looked away and was a little surprised. I thought
"now what?". I didn't have a game plan at that moment. I decided to
try to fly. My result was more like floating or bobbing up and down.
Next, I decided to go outside. I went through a doorway and thought to
myself "Ahh, I love the smell of spring", I could actually smell the
spring in the air and feel the sun on my face. It was cool. This is
important because LDs are less frequent for me than OBEs. I almost
never have an LD.
I could not complete the 2nd 25 minute segment. I had become too
awake at that point. I had to get up.
I am going to give this some more effort. I enjoy the heck out LDs
too. This seems to really help in that respect as well."
-------------------------
"Ahh this technique is very nice. I tried it for the first time
today and I got 3 times into vibrations. But I guess I didn't continue
from there for some reason. :)
1 time I were inside the dream already and made myself relaxed
there and I would certainly have succeeded unless that #"?"#& annoying
dream character wouldn't have interrupted me. :)"
-------------------------
"I tried it out too! Yesterday I got into the vibrational state but
I didn't project because my back started to hurt. Today I tried again
but when I woke up I couldn't get back to sleep.
Congratulations, Matt! This is by far the most effective method
I've ever seen!"
-------------------------
"First off I'd like to thank you! Without this advice, this would
have taken a lot longer to achieve! Thank you!!!!!
This morning started out very frustrating as when my initial alarm
went off at 5:30 to wake me up for my practice I had a lot of
competition getting back into a relaxed state much less to sleep.
These things at this point are all very unimportant as the good news
is finally I had in fact gone into an OBE. I'm not entirely sure what
exactly fueled my OBE but I will do my best to explain things from the
beginning...
-Born Again with Wings
I started off in a dream world of some type, not exactly sure but I
felt very drunk and intoxicated. I was having a hard time controlling
my basic motor skills, and the only thing I really knew for sure was
that I REALLY needed to pee. I somehow (A lot of this part was blocked
out after the OBE) managed to get into Dez's bathroom. I know it was
hers because I knew I was at her house, and it had the very large
mirror on the wall with the door to the right of it. For some reason
though the toilet had moved to almost directly in front of the mirror.
I began doing my duty, when shortly after I realized I'd peed all over
myself, the floor, and the mirror. Terribly embarrassed, and still
quite intoxicated feeling I stumbled up to clean the mess I had made.
Next thing I knew I ended up in a completely different room no longer
with my 'bodily mess'.
Again this frustrated me, and for some reason without even thinking
about it I simply told myself "imagine the bathroom as hard as you
can, and you'll be back into it". Ohhhh did I imagine. I closed my
'eyes' and began to imagine, a sudden flash of light with a sound only
described as "woosh" I was suddenly tingling all over and laying next
to my girlfriend in her room. The room was lit by the mornings glow as
well as an omni-light that seemed to stay with me as I navigated about
the room. For some reason at the foot of the bed was a door that led
outside. This puzzled me very little however noted, as I was more
excited at the time to have escaped my body.
The vibrations were intense at this moment and my vision wasn't
it's best yet, but I instantly took everything I read and began my
trained practice of breath control. I'm not really sure what the exact
reason was for, but I began to roll. Perhaps to fully escape my body
but as I rolled I rolled to the side and wound up laying my head
directly into my girlfriends lap. She made no motion, no noise, and no
startling attempt at asking me what was going on. ( This time ) So I
excitedly began to dart for the door at the foot of the bed, or so I
thought anyway... as I sluggishly crept to the edge of the bed and
immediately fell to the floor. I remembered one thing I seem to have
forgotten, I don't have legs in the astral, and I sure as hell can't
rely on being able to just "push off" things.
I used my arms and created my own balance structure and got myself
upright. As soon as I was up there was no stopping me as I was more
determined than ever. I looked at the door and I darted for it with
all my might. As I got closer I saw it was a windowed door, and beyond
it was a pool.(At the speed I was traveling I knew I was going over or
through it.) I thought nothing of the door and made no attempt to
'open' it as I headed for it as fast as I could. I knew inside that
the door would hold no competition to my direction and as expected I
flew straight through it. (As there really is no door at the foot of
her bed this instantly took me from the RTZ and placed me into an
astral dimension.)
I could feel myself smiling, I leapt into the air and gracefully
floated over the pool and into the grassy field behind the house.
(There really is no grassy field behind her house as it is a
residential park, but after exiting the door I knew I'd left the all
possibility of sense behind) The field was beautiful, slightly rolling
with strong, healthy trees all throughout it. I jumped up in the air
for the first attempt to really fly, and as I floated along I began my
sinking back down. I remember thinking to myself 'Damn' as I'd
realized that I had to train myself to ignore gravity.
I instantly ran, and as I did I saw a child running towards my path
tossing a ball into the air, I ran by laughing and jumping in front of
him and I believe I gave him a hell of a startle. He just looked at me
as if he'd just seen a fool run through his path of bliss and pass by
like the wind. I could not resist any longer and began flying up and
down and left and right, and also doing my best to incorporate my
training that gravity no longer existed. Which I believe I've already
got quite a handle on I even flew feet first, backwards, up into the
air through the trees facing the ground with my arms extended in front
of me. Darted back towards the ground and kicked myself around so I
basically did a 360 and turned around.
Suddenly I remembered something I'd read in Robert Bruce's Astral
Dynamics about being able to simulate travel via vehicle such as
driving a car or riding a motorcycle. Considering my love for
motorcycles passed on to me from my biker father I was truly excited
for my next experiment. I got in position as if I were sitting upon a
crotch rocket and tweaked the throttle. I don't know if it was me
making the noise or if it just came to me but I had the engine
screaming as I tore off like a bat out of hell flying back across the
grassy knoll towards the house.
Upon hitting the final hill before the house I jumped my 'bike'
into the air and instantly threw my arms out to my side as I flew
backwards through the air like something you would see in a comic
book. It felt amazing, I felt amazing, the view was something I could
have never imagined, and the best part was it was so real and anything
I wanted to do I could and anywhere I wanted to be I was there. As if
I'd been injected with all the confidence in the world, I instantly
knew everything I needed to know about 'flying' and darted down
towards the house and like a stunt plane turning seconds before I
crashed and shot out past the house over a large body of water. (I am
living right by the beach in Florida you know.)
As I flew along next thing I know I saw the golden gate bridge that
crosses California. The colors were so vibrant and the bridge was so
detailed. Considering my poor vision this was probably one of the
parts that meant the most to me. I shot up to street level and soared
over the cars on the bridge and back down and off the other side. I
quickly flew back to shore and landed, hearing my phone beeping to
tell me to wake back up.
"!*sation of mild resistance I felt when I put my hands through the
mattress once before. It's denser than moving through the roof but I
make progress to the outside.
I'm on the steps but I'm losing lucidity. Even though the
environment is my current home, I'm beginning to believe it's my old
house and I'm still a teenager. I'm trying to decide where I'll go and
what I'll do. I think to visit an old boyfriend, as though we're
stilling seeing each other. I jump over the railings but I'm pulled
down by gravity. Not suddenly or painfully but definitely. The
experience ends.
I'm aware of myself in my bed. I hear rain (though it's not
raining) and in the right hand corner of the room I see a leak with
water gushing down. It occurs to me that I see this from an angle
outside my body. Then my right ear is ringing."
-------------------------
This started out as a dream then went to an OBE. I went to bed at
10:30ish.
I was outside of my house, in the street. My dad and brother had
this fire plant (mario bros.) Its fireballs were shooting at me and I
woke up in paralysis.
I immediately thought of [Matt's] breath technique and opened my
mouth. A huge surge of energy nearly pushed me out, it took very
little effort to get out. I got up off my bed and fell about fifty
feet through my floor. My third eye was giving me some strong
sensations. It was also really dark the whole experience.
I flew back up to my level and started opening some clothes
drawers. I found a small red frog in the bottom drawer. (Frogs:
depending on color, are a warning sign.) My cousin was talking on her
phone and that was the only person, besides me, in the experience.
-------------------------
Just finished part 2. Excellent job. Some real good stuff here, with
good graphics. I am waiting for part III. Using memory impressions as
doorways to obe is the ticket for me. I always get tons of memory
impressions and scenery when I meditate. Let me know when the dvd is
ready
-------------------------
Finally....it's been a long time for me. I just woke up about 30
mins ago, so I'm still a little loopy tired but don't want to forget
anything....hence, just jotting all this down.
Didn't feel like I fell asleep at all. Used Saltcube Timer with
laptop on nightstand. Had very dim nightlight on in room. No eyemask
this time. Was alert when I heard beeps...don't think I dozed off.
Went from partial paralysis to full heavy vibrations, full paralysis
between beeps.
I'm not very good with imagery, so I laid there and focused on
creating a "dot" of light in my field of vision behind closed eyes. I
was trying to create a white light but when something appeared, it
looked like a bright neon blue speck of light.
I focused on the light and tried to keep it steady. This was VERY
hard for me. A few times it went away completely, but then would
return...almost off my field of vision, and then I would "bring" it
back to "center."
The light slowly became larger and at first it looked like it was
coming closer, but it was just spreading out...not moving closer. This
went on a long time, but have no idea in relative minutes.
Then the next Timer beep made me open my eyes and I was a little
angry at myself for doing that. I felt the vibrations "blast" out from
my sternum and throughout my body. I've had this happen before, so I
was fine with it and became less angry at myself for opening my eyes.
I did what I did before, which was roll out. This time to my left
and my body rolled through a pillow that was beside me. It wasn't a
graceful "out" at all :)
I saw my body on my back and made a mental note to remember that
every time I've had an experience, I'd been in the supine position.
Then I reached out to touch my body and when I did, the second I
made contact, a huge blue light filled my vision so that I couldn't
see anything but the light...
I felt a STRONG pull like someone was pushing on the back of my
neck. It didn't last long, maybe a few seconds, but it catapulted me
forward into the light and then the light opened and became a tunnel.
The walls were still the neon blue, but the interior was black as well
as what appeared to be the "end" of it.
It felt solid on my feet so I moved forward in this tunnel and
there were video screens on the sides and top but not under me. On
each screen were videos of me, like home movies I'd never seen. I
became a little dizzy looking at all of them.
Then I touched one that didn't have me in it. My hand went through
the screen and reminded me of the special effects in the movie
"Contact" where Jodi Foster was in "Pensacola" at the end of the film.
The video screen rippled like that.
I pushed both of my hands into the screen at about waist height and
decided to go in. It didn't work at first, just stood there, bent over
with my arms in. Then I tried again and found myself in the video.
It was boring and I didn't recognize anyone, so I left there. Back
in the tunnel, I went for one of myself on the screen but again didn't
make it through the first time because someone else appeared.
The "person" looked almost just like me but was not. It reminded me
of twins who appear identical, but there's always something that
allows you to tell them apart. She explained that each screen was a
place in time and that if I decided to visit one of them, I had to be
very careful not to interact with anything, but only observe.
I asked why and she said that I would change time if I interacted
and that it would not be fair to others...something like that. I asked
if she could come with me, she said no.
I walked off, feeling a little mad for some reason that I was told
I couldn't interact and headed toward the end of the blue tunnel...the
"empty" end. At this point, it was no longer solid under my feet, and
I flew head first toward the end.
I kept thinking there was no end, but finally there was, sort of.
The blue walls fell away and then it was all black. I flipped myself
over, like a somersalt and saw a satelitte with 2 large "wings" or
flaps made of metal. It was hovering and I knew there was something
behind it, so I tried to move to the left to see what it was
obstructing.
That was not easy.
When I finally could see past it, it was the Earth. The first thing
I thought was, it wasn't perfectly round. It had a orb of yellow light
all the way around it. On the outer part of the yellow was a blue
layer and on top of the blue layer was a purple-blue layer. In the
purple blue layer were TONS of orbs of white moving in all directions.
They were round and I thought to myself how they looked like bugs,
because of the way they moved. Instead of floating, they seemed to be
moving with a purpose and hence, the thought of bugs.
I kept thinking I want to go to Earth, but the orbs bothered me
because for some reason I thought they'd get in my way....there were
so many. I just watched them. Then I had a feeling they were looking
at me. I don't know why. They seemed to slow down and know I was
there, so I decided to try and go back to my bed.
I pictured myself standing at the side of my bed, over and over and
as intensely as I could. But, I didn't wake up standing in my bed. I
woke up sitting up in my bed, with my legs vibrating and then fell
back and woke up, felt my upper body vibrate lightly and then laid
there and waited for the paralysis to wear off.
I "pushed" myself awake by moving my arm.....which took a long time
and a lot of effort.
-------------------------
The main thing that struck me about this technique was how easy and
powerful it was. It was almost effortless to achieve either lucidity
or to have an OBE. The times I tried this was from 3 - 5 am in the
morning.
Generally what I consider and 'astral projection' involved my
complete awareness that I am out of my body, unlike lucidity where I
realize I am dreaming. These projections range from subtle muted black
and white environment that I walk around in to something as
spectacular and flying up high into the air and seeing vibrant colors
and the scene below me looking exactly like I am actually flying high
above the earth.
The flying experiences are absolutely incredible and something I
continue to strive for.
To achieve OBEs I have also tried other things like hypnotic
scripts, hemi-sync wave files and some meditation. I have had rather
limited success over the years with OBE's using these techniques but I
have had them. The rhythm napping technique seems to be the best and
fastest way to achieve strong lucidity and OBE and I am thinking about
doing this method again and was looking for a simple way to implement
it.
One apparent drawback to using the rhythm napping technique at
least for me was that the actual 'projections' where rather short
lived, perhaps two minutes or less. Another drawback, at least for me
was that I was extremely tired the next day and it makes it difficult
to do during the workweek.
One of the things I remember reading on the tutorials is to do
something like stick your finger through a wall to do a reality check.
Well, I also remember someone mentioning that they stretch their
finger until it hit the wall and it would be a trigger to make them
realize they were dreaming. I tried this on one occasion and actually
made this work.
-------------------------
I have been doing this for less than a year, and it is truly
amazing. The timer worked for me the first time I tried it. I was
actually just looking for a technique for lucid dreaming, but I got an
OBE instead! That was pretty cool.

EDITOR\'S NOTE - THIS PERSON POSTED THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE A MERE
WEEK AFTER FIRST JOINING THE DISCUSSION FORUMS:

***SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET***
I'd like to sincerely thank everybody for their help and advice.
I'd like to give a round of applause to the man that came up with the
"rhythm napping" system presented on this site. It works!
For the last couple days, I've been trying to calm down my strong
urge to OBE, because I was starting to lose deep sleep in all my
attempts. So, last night, I figured that it might by a good time to
try the rhythm napping for the first time, since I'd eaten well and
done a lot to tire myself out that day.
I really didn't feel like doing it though, lazy. So, I went to
sleep for 3 hrs (at 2:00), and begrudgingly woke up at 5 in the
morning. I stayed up for an hour listening to a Sylvia Brown self
hypnosis track, don't know if it helped. Then I put on my ear plugs
and bandana (as a blindfold), turned on that website timer, and went
to sleep.
All was going well, and I began to notice as the patterns went on
that my consciousness was indeed being snapped back from sleep before
the alarms went off, and apparently with my body in deeper paralysis
than I can usually do on my own. So, about the first or second 30 min
set, something great happened.
I had the thought of falling off a balcony (version of gravity
press I guess), and I'll be damned if I didn't feel myself separating
right then. I could feel my upper body beginning to come out of my
physical body, straining from a force that felt like magnetic
attraction. I even heard that rushing noise everyone describes!
It was great! Unfortunately, I sprang back, and was woken up soon
after at 8:00, so I gave up afterwards. But the experience was so
tangible! Just wait, I'll succeed by the end of the week, haha.
I think I now have the experience I need to at least start talking
with others around me about this sort of stuff, for their own good.
Especially in this arena, I hate talking about things I don't know
much about, and experience is the best teacher.
-------------------------
I have used some recordings which are great for relaxing and
meditating but have not yet been able to astral project. However I did
have success for the first time with lucid dreaming last night using
only the timer on this website, it was great.
I had no problems exiting my body at all but once I was out I
couldn't see clearly for a few seconds. I knew I was still in my room
but everything was extremely blurry until I concentrated on what my
room looked like and it seemed like things cleared up almost
instantly. I'm not sure why but when I went up stairs I was no longer
in my house, it was a house that I have no recollection of ever being
in before with my dad sleeping on the couch.
I tried to go through a wall by jumping over the couch but just
bounced off, I guess I'll have to work on that. I also had a false
awakening which I thought could have been the beginning of an OBE if I
had not waken up completely.
-------------------------
I've been LDing for 6 years now, so I was already pretty familiar
with many aspects of moving through the dream world. Matt's
information was effective because it gave me some perspective or a map
of exactly how to put all this knowledge into practice.
I went from having 1 or 2 LDs spontaneously a month to being able
to induce them consistently, or so it appears! It's opened up new
possibilities for me.
-------------------------
Last night was interesting. I got Matt's DVD and decided to try for
a teleport OBE. Once I started laying down however I decided to do it
backwards. As my body was relaxing I imagined that I was out of body
and in the other room. I saw the room vividly (but this isn't unusual,
I can do this from an awakened state) and felt the textures of the
walls and floor and door, and lock.
I imagined myself opening the door... and stepping outside... but
the thing I noticed was that this time, as opposed to any other time I
had tried to build a dream from just my imagination, I had no trouble
at all with the flow of time. Usually something like walking would
have been choppy and fake at best but this time it was easy and
natural.
By the time this was happening my body was in paralysis from non
movement, and I think that's the difference. I remember going back and
forth between awareness of this dream double and my body and thinking
"Wow... I totally forgot about my body there", and indeed for the time
that I was imagining, I completely forgot about my body.
I also got a steady stream of memory impressions, though they did
not settle into a single coherent focus in the time I was in trance.
the imagery was crisp and real, though I still had a sense that I was
making some of it up... the environment did surprise me though... as
if it were running on its own... people would walk down the street,
and cars would go by.
Eventually I had trouble maintaining focus and found I was looking
at that weird 3D world behind the eyelids where I get the transparent
animations. This time though, the animations were pretty solid... I
remember seeing a helicopter painted in army green flying up and out
of sight. And I saw for sure, and for the first time what seemed to be
a star falling through my field of vision.
It was pretty bright against the red background. I tried to pull it
to me but its always hard to get these images to stabilize. Then, I
saw my dream hands in this space for the first time. I could control
them, and everywhere I directed them my POV would follow. This was
pretty amazing.

The OBE timer helped me a lot. I had set the timer to go off for
every 20 minutes, the 4th time after waking up I got the sleep
paralysis and other sensations related to out of body experiences. I
tried to open my eyes (physically) but they slammed back shut I just
laid there relaxed and calm. I slowly tried to move into a more
comfortable position on my left side, I was able to then my body
became fully paralyzed for some reason I didn't go through the
vibrational stage. I felt this lifting sensation I was thinking "ok
good I'm exiting I'm going out". Then I woke up again but this time I
was at my ceiling. Although the light in my room was dim I saw
everything much brighter and with crystal clear quality from that
perspective I was looking down at everything in my room.
I could hear everything that was going on next door to me with
crystal clear quality also.
I said "yes" then I sunk back down. I blacked out then awakened
again but I was half in and half out of my body. I tried to move my
fingers to get out of the paralysis but it felt as though it was my
astral fingers were passing through the rest of my hand and I heard a
very low buzzing/humming sound in my ears. I blacked out one more time
and woke up and then I was fully reconnected with full physical
movement again.
Oh yeah one more thing, I'm just recovering from a bad cold I still
have a slight headache and a stuffy nose. When I exited my body all of
those bad feelings I had from the lingering cold was dropped I felt a
presence of peace, love, happiness, protection and just a plain sense
of well being.
