Or, would you turn and walk away? Wouldn’t you be curious? Wouldn’t you want to know what painting secrets lie inside?

Wouldn’t you want to know if you could use the forgotten drawing and painting knowledge of 1000 years?

If your answer is No!… This is not for you… Go now!

If your answer is Yes!… Read on…

Hidden within the next few words is a lost art treasure… unknown and unseen for countless years… You’ll be surprised when you understand!

Even more valuable…

When you unlock the hidden art secrets you could use the vanished gems inside… to find a masterpiece with your own name on…

The headline is true…

The first pencil drawings I did, as a teenager at high school, were wrecked by the friend who laughed… he was jealous.

“My friend was jealous… he should have been better… he had been to Art School”

Yes, he should have been a better artist but…

The difference was… I knew what I wanted to do…

I wanted to draw steam engines that looked solid and real I wanted the drawings to hiss with the sound of hot steam I wanted to get the feel of raw coal fired power I wanted to show the speed of an express train
This guy scrawled all over my hard work… and trashed my artwork.

Did I care…? You bet I did

But, he did me a massive favor… he gave me the challenge I needed…

I knew I couldn’t be beaten by his ignorance I knew I could draw better pictures than the ones he destroyed.

We stayed friends and I learned how to draw and paint whatever I wanted…

"I can draw and paint steam engines and a whole lot more…"

And here's the Great News...

Can you paint well if your drawing is bad?

This is where I have plenty of good news for you…

“Yes, you can paint well even if your drawing skills need improving”

Unlike drawing, painting is about using color. (this is not to say that you can‘t draw with color)

Color is what distinguishes you…

You have a favorite color You like to wear clothes with colors that suit you You room decoration will use colors that lift You use color to warn of danger You use color to make you feel good Every art supplier can supply 100’s of different colors for you to play with… but…

“Which colors do you choose to paint with?”

ARTIST TIP  2…
Here, I’ll give you some free advice…
Red Blue Yellow Wait, you’ll scream! There are lots of reds, blues and yellows to choose from...

“Which Red… which Blue… and which Yellow?”

With a true mid Red, a true mid Blue and a true mid yellow you can mix any color you want...  Oranges Greens Purples Browns Grays  Blacks However, there’s a ‘but’…

And its a big ‘BUT’…

“There’s no such thing as a pure color pigment…”

You can’t buy pure blue… pure red… or pure yellow. However, this is not a problem for you...

You don't need to worry about color... Here's the secret...

It doesn’t matter which red, blue or yellow you start with. The reason is that…

“The less colors you begin with means it is easier to learn what other colors can be made”

Wait! It gets better still… Do you want to know the fastest way to learn to paint... It's so easy...

ARTIST TIP  3…

Use less colors.

Of course you’ll be asking...

“How can I use less colors?”…

“How can I use less colors than blue, red and yellow?”

Its easy…

Learn to paint with only 1-color

Think about it…

When you paint with 1-color there are no worries about…

How many colors do I need? Which colors work best? What is a contrasting color? What is a complementary color?
When you draw…

You use 1-color (the black or gray of graphite lead).

When you write...

You use 1-color (black or blue).

Yes, like drawing and writing...

“The best way to learn to paint is to use just 1-color…”

A choice from Blue, Black or Brown is best…
