Kai Fusser was a competitive water skier, prior to becoming a nationally recognized Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. Currently he is the coach and trainer to some of the worlds top performing athletes including Annika Sorenstam, the top female golfer in the world as well as Karen Stupples and Jung Yeon Lee.

 

With extensive experience training both wake boarders and water skiers for competition, Kai developed a training philosophy that caught the attention of Annika Sorenstam. Following interviews with several trainers, Kai was selected in 2001 to help transform her body and game into the leading player in the LPGA.

 

His versatile and effective program is now being used by more than 20 Tour, Junior and Collegiate level players, in addition to members of the NBA. He often shares his philosophy with coaches and trainers at Universities through regular speaking engagements. Excerpts of his training have appeared in Golf Magazine, Japanese Golf Digest as well as 60 minutes.

 



Jeff Troesch is an internationally recognized expert in the field of mental skills training and performance enhancement and has been involved in training athletes and other elite performers for nearly 18 years.  Jeff served as Director of Mental Training for David Leadbetters Golf Academies, where he was instrumental in assisting in the development of the training programs and methodology that continues to produce golf champions around the world. Jeff works with several touring professionals and amateur players - assisting them in the creation of optimal training plans and developmental strategies.

  

Jeff has been a consultant to several teams and organizations, including Major League Baseballs Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers; the National Basketball Association; the US Soccer Federation; and many other professional, collegiate, and amateur sport programs. Jeff's work has been featured in Golf Digest; Golf Week magazine; Asian Golf Magazine; Baseball America; Fox Sports "Going Deep"; Gillette Sports Week; Wide World of Sports; Tennis Magazine; and several international publications. Jeff is also a recognized speaker for many golf related and other sport association events including the American Junior Golf Association.

With over eight years experience working in the golf industry, Jeff has been named to the national advisory board for BACK to GOLF Sports Medicine Network and executive council member for the NSCA Golf-SIG. Other related certifications include Master Golf Fitness Instructor (MGFI) through Advantage Golf, Professional Golf Fitness Instructor through the PGFA, certified C.H.E.K. Golf Biomechanic, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.

 



Brian Smith, PT, CSCS, graduated from The Ohio State

University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree of Physical Therapy in Allied Health Professions. Brian became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 1998.

 

Currently, he provides personal training in a private fitness studio and co- owns Fitness Edge Performance, specializing in sport specific training for

athletes of all sports and ages. Presently, he serves as strength and conditioning coach for The Columbus Crew Major League Soccer Team.

 

Brian has developed his golf conditioning philosophies through educational

opportunities including Body Balance for Performance: The Complete Golf

Health and Fitness Training Program, and became a Golf Conditioning

Specialist through GMP Fitness. The educational experiences and his love

for the game of golf have led to the creation of the Fitness Edge Performance golf fitness program. Brian has worked with golfers of all ages and skills from collegiate Division 1 golfers to recreational golfers, allowing golfers to improve their fitness approach to golf and stay injury free on the golf course.

 





Jennifer Yockey has been teaching for over a decade and has had experience with PGA Tour, Nationwide and Futures Tour Professionals. She previously was a golf instructor with the DavidLeadbetterGolfAcademy and is current coach for PGA Tour professional Todd Fischer.

 

Jennifer had a very successful junior career, winning most notably the Northern California Junior Golf Association Championship in 1986 as well as representing the winning Northern California team at the 1986 Junior Americas Cup. She was chosen and played on the Pac 10 All Star team that traveled to and competed in Asia for three weeks in 1990. In 1992 she decided to play the Mini Tours. Jennifer spent one season on the West Coast playing the Players West Golf Tour and one season playing the East Coast Futures Tour.

 

Jennifer is a CHEK certified Golf Biomechanic. She has also been certified in club fitting by Henry Griffiths, Titleist, and Square Two. She is a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division. She currently teaches at Rancho La Quinta Country Club in Palm Desert as well as Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon.



 
Brian Schiff has practiced as a licensed physical therapist for eight years specializing in sports medicine. He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). He graduated from Ohio State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree of Physical Therapy in Allied Health Professions.
