About me: I've been handicapping horses since my late teens, and I've written two books about Horse Racing: How To Pick Long Shots and How To Win At Horse Racing. Much to my surprise, both books have been well received.

Believe it or not, handicapping is more fun to me than gambling. The lengthy process of analyzing the card, studying the race replays, and trying to find reliable winners is what keeps me interested. From a gambling perspective, I mostly play Win/Place/Show wagers and an occasional cold Daily Double or a Pick 4. I'm what you'd consider a conservative gambler. I only bet on horses that I feel should win their race by several lengths or more.

If you want to be successful at horse racing, you must be proficient in these aspects of the game:

Handicapping - You're either great at picking winners or you're not. If you can't pick winners, buy selections from a dedicated handicapper like me.

Money Management - You should never wager more than 5% of your total bankroll on one selection. Money management is equally important to being able to pick winners (and maybe even more important).

Wagering - You should wager in a manner that produces a profit if your selection wins. Keep it simple. This is where many gamblers fail miserably. Even if they know the horse that's going to win the race, they still manage to lose their money in the exotic pools instead of simply making a Win/Place/Show wager.

While I can't manage your money nor make your wagers, I can handicap for you. Picking winners is my expertise.

Some of the horses I've picked:

Deity $24.20 Whilly Pink $16.60 Prime Issue $13.20 Pocket Prince $91.00 Hoosier Diddy $11.00 Cherry On The Cake $17.40 Black Tornado $12.20 Bound for Eden $15.60 Warren's Hornblower $10.40 Tummel $18.40 Egg Drop $14.80 Peppery $30.60 Wild In The Saddle $19.60 Snackable $7.20 Skattle Seattle $17.20 Kid Stuff $35.20 Lil Barbie Doodle $13.60 Swiss In Paris $12.20

If you're a serious gambler or perhaps a member of a syndicate, my selections can help you round out those exotic tickets or point you towards a horse you might otherwise overlook - we all know how painful it is when we misss a Pick 4 or Pick 5 by one horse. With my picks, I might be able to help you find the one horse that consistently eludes you. If you love gambling but aren't a competent handicapper, my picks are perfect for you - keep it simple by playing my selections in the Win/Place/Show pools. And for the player that loves the action but dislikes handicapping, my selections can help you avoid the hours of labor it requires to handicap a full card.

As you probably already know, picking winners on a consistent basis is difficult. I cannot guarantee my picks will win, not ever. If you don't have the resolve to play the game with long-term results in mind, then you shouldn't be wagering. My picks will not solve your financial problems either, so don't even think about subscribing so you can catch up on your house payments. My job is to analyze the races and find horses that, I believe, have a high probability to win. What you do with that information is entirely up to you.

Most handicappers give you three selections for every race on the card and then claim victory when one wins. That's not how I do things. I won't be giving my opinion on races that I feel are unpredictable, and when I do give you a selection, it will be ONE horse per race. I don't wager on "might win" horses. I only wager on horses that I believe to be standouts.

My philosophy on wagering is simple: bet heavy when you've got an edge and keep your money in your pocket the rest of the time. If that means you have to wait 5 or 10 races before you place a bet, then so be it. My goal is to make money, to turn a profit. It should be yours too. (And what I mean by "bet heavy" is that a handicapper should wager his/her maximum amount allotted for the selection, which is never more than 5% of total bankroll.)

I don't usually handicap graded races, sprints under 5.5 furlongs, or routes over 8.5 furlongs. I don't like graded races because every entrant is an exceptional horse and, on a good day, every one of them has the ability to win. Most of my selections will be in the mid to low level claiming ranks. I also like maiden races with starters that have at least a few starts each. I don't wager on pedigree alone, and I will never give you a first time starter as a selection.

I'm not going to try to sell you on my abilities. My track record speaks for itself ([View My Previous Selections](previous.html)). The bottom line is, if you want selections from a guy who takes the process of handicapping very seriously and has a pretty good track record, click the SUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of this page. If you aren't happy after 8 weeks, request a refund through Clickbank and they'll gladly refund your money.

A few things to note about my picks:

1) I provide no guarantees whatsoever. My picks might win, come in second or third, or possibly dead last. They might even break down halfway around the track and get vanned off (this has happened a few times!).

2) Regardless of the Morning Line, my goal is to pick winners. That means that sometimes my selections will be the favorite.

3) I recommend a simple wagering strategy of Win/Place/Show for each selection. If you choose to use my selections in exotic bets, that's up to you.

4) My selections are based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: speed, class, and my own personal trip notes. Additionally, every one of my selections fit specific criteria.

5) I invest a tremendous amount of time and knowledge into my handicapping, and you will be getting selections based on over 25 years of handicapping experience.

6) I reserve the right to refuse service to any customer at any time.

7) I reserve the right to cancel any subscription at any time.

8) You will be billed initially for $100 and then $100 again every 30 days from that point forward.

9) I will email the day's selections to the email address that you use to purchase your subscription. You will get an email every Saturday and Sunday morning, usually between 6am and 7am Pacific Standard Time.

10) Although this won't happen often, there will be days when you will receive an email that states "No Selections For Today". When you get an email like that, it means that I couldn't find any horses that fit my criteria as a standout. I'd rather you wait for the next racing day than give you a less than ideal selection.

11) I only offer selections for Saturday and Sunday.

12) At this time I am only handicapping California tracks and (occasionally) Woodbine. However, I am considering adding the New York, Florida, and Maryland circuits.

13) I do not provide commentary with my selections. My job is to pick winners, and how I determine my selections is a long, drawn out process that wouldn't make much sense if I tried to explain it. I will be giving you race numbers and horse names. That's it.

14) The introductory rate of $100 will not last long. I will be increasing the price to $179 within the next few months.
