PATHWAY 2 PREPARENDESS 12 WEEK COURSE

YOU MUST LEARN TO
PROVIDE FOR YOUR FAMILY
IN THE COMING HARD TIMES

Hard times ARE coming. You may not yet understand it logically but
YOU KNOW IT IN YOUR GUT. Many families would swear hard times are
already here. They're struggling to simply get by, living paycheck to
paycheck, and definitely wondering why things continue to get more and
more expensive while their paychecks get smaller and smaller. Maybe
that describes you, maybe not. But it could be YOU, and MUCH faster
than you realize.

Ask anybody who lived through the hyperinflationary periods in
Germany, Greece, Hungary, or more recently Zimbabwe, Iraq, Romania,
and plenty more examples. In fact, many, MANY DOZENS OF COUNTRIES HAVE
EXPERIENCED HYPERINFLATION TO VARYING DEGREES IN A SINGLE LIFETIME
even the United States experienced it during the Revolutionary War.
Yes, we've been fortunate here in America. We really have. The problem
is that inflation is coming back home, and with a vengeance. There's
just no way around it. You've got to be ready.

LET ME ASK YOU A SIMPLE QUESTION: How can you honestly expect to
provide for your family's well-being when times get really tough
without:

-> THE SUPPLIES TO SEE YOU THROUGH
-> THE GEAR TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT
-> AND A REAL PLAN TO MAKE IT HAPPEN?

Truth is, you can’t. But it doesn't have to be that way. You CAN do
better, much better. YOU REALLY CAN PROVIDE FOR AND PROTECT YOUR
FAMILY EVEN IN THE WORST OF TIMES. You'll learn how in a moment. But
first let’s understand each other…

Yes, I really do believe hard times are coming. When? I don’t know.
I’m not a prophet. The thing is, though, I’m not alone. There are
many, many people far smarter than I who see the same things and I’m
willing to bet you see it as well. So, let’s be honest. Are things
really getting better as the government and mass media like to
constantly reassure us they are? Of course they’re not our situation
is just being “hidden” better.

But, just to be clear, let’s look at a two crucial real-world
examples that directly affect your quality of life…

GAS PRICES ARE POISED TO SKYROCKET
AND WHY THAT'S SPELLS CERTAIN
"DEATH" TO YOUR WAY OF LIFE

OUR LIVES HERE IN AMERICA ARE LITERALLY RUN ON GASOLINE. Seriously.
It’s not just about getting to and from work, dropping off the kids
at school, or even getting to the grocery store. It’s much more than
that. Instead, it's really about the semi-trucks that keep you and I
happy and content consumers. If you don’t believe it, I CHALLENGE
YOU TO TRY THIS: the next time you’re out on the road—especially
the interstates—try and count how many semi-trucks you pass by in a
single minute (roughly a single mile) I'm sure it's easily dozens.

Now, multiply that number by the nearly fifty thousand miles of
interstates that these very same semi-trucks travel day-in and
day-out, 365 days a year, day and night, to bring you the countless
consumer goods you rely on from places like Walmart, the food your
kids are eating for dinner tonight, the clothes on your back, and even
the gasoline you need to, well… get anywhere you want to go. It’s
mind-boggling to be sure. But there's a problem, a huge problem

You see, our American society is such a well-oiled machine it should
bring a smile to your face just contemplating it. Our forefathers
would have been so proud of what we've accomplished in just a few
hundred years. But herein lies a glaring fallacy: OUR FOREFATHERS MAY
HAVE SMILES BUT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PROUD. Nope. Not at all.

Fact is, our forefathers were very smart people. They would have
understood that, although this societal model-of buy, buy,
buy-functions quite well in good times, that’s just not the case
when times are bad and they understood bad times too. Oddly, IT'S
PRECISELY OUR NEED TO BUY, BUY, BUY THAT WILL CREATE THE WORST
HYPERINFLATIONARY PERIOD EVER EXPERIENCED HERE IN AMERICA.

The sad truth is that it doesn't take much to throw a giant monkey
wrench into the works and foul it all up. Modern societies have seen
this time and again. Fortunately, we've always rebounded but times are
different now. Take, for example, this chart of gasoline prices for
roughly the past 90 years:

www.energytrendsinsider.com

See anything disturbing? You should!

First is the obvious: THE BLATANT TREND IS THAT GAS PRICES HAVE BEEN
RISING MORE STEADILY. Second, in only the time-frame of a single
decade gas prices are beginning to show the “hockey stick” effect.
What’s that, you ask? Well, imagine laying a hockey stick on the
ground (in this case at the bottom of the chart) with the business end
of the stick pointing upward on the right side of the chart and there
you have it: a hockey stick. What does it mean? As it relates to our
lives THIS DECADE IS THE TIME-FRAME WHERE GASOLINE PRICES BEGIN TO
SKYROCKET OUT OF CONTROL.

In reality, it’s not gasoline prices that are the problem, it’s
the oil prices. Believe it or not, crude oil is used to manufacture so
many modern day products it would make your head spin, from obvious
ones like refining gasoline and diesel to less obvious ones like
creating plastics, pesticides, cosmetics, and fertilizers, which
brings us to our next major problem…

FOOD PRICES ARE RISING
OUT OF CONTROL AND IT’S ONLY
GOING TO GET WORSE

Don’t take my word for it. See for yourself in the following chart
depicting the Food Price Index from 1990 through 2011:

www.money.msn.com

For starters, you need to understand what the food price index is:
“The FAO Food Price Index is a measure of the monthly change in
international prices of a basket of food commodities.” Basically, it
measures how expensive food is world-wide.

The IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE IS THAT THIS CHART IS STARTING TO DO THE
SAME THING THAT THE GAS CHART IS: HOCKEY STICK UPWARD. Besides, in
just the past year or so (since the end of the chart) the index has
added another twenty points. Things are getting more expensive and
this is only what they want us to see!

You know how I said it’s going to get worse? Well, it is, and
here’s why…

The inherent problem is that CRUDE OIL AND FOOD PRODUCTION ARE SO
INTERTWINED THAT THEY CANNOT BE SEPARATED. Not only does most food
travel 1500-2500 “food miles” to get to your dinner table (yes,
you read those numbers right), but the pesticides and fertilizers that
big agriculture utilize to grow the food you eat are inexorably
dependent on—you guessed it—crude oil.

I must then ask you an obvious question: what happens to the cost of
your breakfast, lunch, and dinner when the underlying cost of a barrel
of oil tops $200 or more? How about $500?

There’s only one honest answer: THE COST OF YOUR FOOD SKYROCKETS
ALONG WITH CRUDE OIL PRICES. The outcome is inevitable. Sadly,
you’re getting double-dipped, not only because you're paying for the
higher prices in gasoline to transport food to your local stores—as
well as every other consumer good you purchase—but in the underlying
costs of the pesticides and fertilizers to grow food. Talk about a
double-whammy!

But that’s not even the best part. Manufacturer's getting sneaky
too. You know what else they’re doing to our food, especially here
in America? I know you know the answer…

FOOD PACKAGING IS GETTING SMALLER
TO MAKE INFLATION SEEM LOWER

You see it everywhere you look these days. From lighter bags of
potato chips to smaller jars of peanut butter, and even fewer slices
of cheese per package to less meat too. It’s happening right before
our eyes! Go look in your pantry and refrigerator. I dare you.

Granted, that’s not such a bad thing for our waistlines but I can
guarantee you it’s definitely not good for our wallets and long-term
prosperity. You and I are paying more and getting less… and it’s
only going to get worse.

THERE’S MUCH MORE TO PREPARE FOR
THAN THE COMING HARD TIMES

As much as I would like to say that we only have to prepare for
coming hard times, life still happens. More precisely, disasters still
happen

EVEN MOTHER NATURE IS AGAINST US

Take something as simple as water for example. IF THERE’S ONE THING
IN LIFE THAT WE TEND TO TAKE FOR GRANTED YET RELY ON THE MOST, IT’S
UNDOUBTEDLY WATER. Here in America we have been blessed with an
abundance of water-rich resources. We've harnessed it to our benefit
for many decades now. We've even funneled water to places where none
is found naturally and built entire metropolises where none should
exist. Yes, we've conquered Mother Nature, haven't we? Well, not
quite. The truth is that Mother Nature is ALWAYS in charge.
Regrettably, this could be a scene coming to your town very soon:

www.trendflux.com

Don't believe it?

Do you remember that just last summer (of 2012) we had widespread
droughts, record low river levels, and even farmers slaughtering
livestock all because of a lack of rainwater! Yes, the tides can turn
just that quickly. Needless to say A LACK OF WATER ONLY EXACERBATES
FOOD PRICE INCREASES because less food is being grown per acre, but
that’s not the point here. The point is that even something so
seemingly plentiful as water could disappear without warning. What
will you do then?

Let's look closer to home. In fact, let's look inside your home

Did you know that—according to the EPA—the average family of four
uses 400 gallons of water per day? Ponder that number. Do you have any
idea as to how much water that really is? To put it into perspective
the average bathtub holds 42 gallons of water, so let’s just say
your family uses on average ten bathtubs worth of water per day. You
think, ok, that’s not THAT bad, until…

…until your tap water stops flowing. Maybe it’s because of a
drought, a boil water order, or even something as simple as a broken
water main. The reason why isn't that important. THE FACT THAT YOU AND
I SIMPLY CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT WATER FOR MUCH MORE THAN THREE DAYS IS
WHAT’S CRITICAL TO UNDERSTAND. Take a moment and think about how
short three days really is it can be gone in a flash! You’re
accustomed to using 400 gallons per day and just like that you have no
access to water. What are you going to do? What will your family do?

Oh, and I didn't even mention the kicker: water MUST be clean and
free of pathogens otherwise you’ll likely contract diseases that are
among the most probable causes of death worldwide such as cholera or
perhaps you’ll just die of good old fashioned dysentery caused by
diarrhea. Really. DIARRHEA STILL HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF THE TOP CAUSES
OF DEATH WORLDWIDE… AND ALL BECAUSE OF A LACK OF ACCESS TO CLEAN
WATER. Yes, water is THAT crucial.

LET’S NOT FORGET THE MICROSCOPIC
ORGANISMS WE CANNOT SEE

Are you aware that we’re due for a major flu pandemic? On average,
flu pandemics happen about every 25 years or so (according to
flu.gov). Major flu pandemics, more specifically, seem to happen about
every 90 years or so with the last one being the Spanish flu of 1918
(which was more than 90 years ago). Here's a sobering photo from that
time:

www.cbc.ca

I'm sure you wouldn't want to be one of these people. And YOU
DEFINITELY WOULDN'T WANT YOUR SPOUSE OR CHILDREN TO BE ONE OF THEM.
So, what's the plan for you and your family in a major flu pandemic?
Do you have one? Or, are you going to be running around like
everything is normal? Perhaps wearing a basic dust mask because the
authorities suggest it, still going to work because you NEED the
money, your kids still attending school because that's what everyone
else is doing, and buying food at the grocery stores because you have
nothing to rely on? I hope not. IF YOU'RE SMART YOU WOULD BE HOME
RIDING IT OUT, but not in desperation in relative comfort.

What about everyone else? You know, the people who stock the grocery
store shelves, keep the lights on, the water flowing, and bring
gasoline to the filling stations? Will they still be out doing THEIR
jobs? Honestly, I can guarantee that’s not going to happen in a true
pandemic. And if you naively expect so then please stop reading now.
This isn't for you… either that or you desperately need it. THE
TRUTH IS THAT PEOPLE WILL BE SCARED AND, AS A RESULT, THEY WILL STAY
HOME. The difference between you and them is that YOU will be
prepared.

REMEMBER THAT NATURAL AND EVEN
MAN-MADE DISASTERS CAUSE HAVOC ALSO

A major aspect of being prepared is to be ready for those things that
we typically consider natural disasters, including earthquakes,
hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, tsunamis, and wildfires to name a few.
You only need to consider the vast number of people displaced or
otherwise affected by Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Sandy, the
earthquakes in Haiti, the Joplin tornado outbreak, and even the
Mississippi river floods to recognize how devastating such natural
disaster can be. In fact, these are precisely the types of scenarios
that I intend to help you prepare for and avoid becoming a
“statistic” of.

That said, THERE’S EVEN MORE TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT THAN NATURAL
DISASTERS ALONE. House fires, blackouts, biological and chemical
scenarios, terrorist attacks, home invasions, active shooters, and
even seemingly far-fetched ideas such as EMP attacks and solar flares
are all viable scenarios to concern yourself with. There’s no doubt
that life is rife with danger.

Regrettably, news of any impending natural disaster WILL cause store
shelves to go bare in a matter of hours:

www.beforeitsnews.com

History has shown this to be true time and again. What would you do
if you arrived at your local grocery store and the above scene is what
you encountered? YOU WOULD PANIC! And, obviously, you would
immediately be looking for handouts-maybe even DEMANDING
handouts-along with untold others who were ill-prepared as well.

Regrettably, the sad fact is that

YOU CANNOT RELY ON FEMA
OR THE GOVERNMENT TO SAVE YOU!

As much as I want to believe in my fellow Americans at FEMA and those
in the government—at all levels—to help you and I out when we need
them the most, I simply cannot bet my life (or that of my family's) on
their actions or in-actions, and neither should you.

THERE ARE EXAMPLES ABOUND AS TO HOW FEMA FAILED TO DO WHAT THEY’RE
EXPECTED TO DO: TO HELP YOU WHEN YOU CANNOT HELP YOURSELF. In my
opinion, they were never setup to succeed in the first place.
Hurricane Katrina and, more recently, Hurricane Sandy should have made
this point abundantly clear. And if you haven’t figured it out by
now, there is NOBODY that you can trust to save your skin other than
you. Please don't be one of the hundreds of people living in a FEMA
shelter like this one (which looks eerily similar to the 1918 Spanish
flu photo):

www.deep.med.miami.edu

WITH AUTHORITIES LITERALLY TELLING YOU:

AND WORSE

And good luck getting any sleep at night. While you're at it, PRAY
THAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY DOESN'T GET SICK (it's almost inevitable in a
crowded place like this) and PRAY THAT NOTHING BAD HAPPENS TO YOU,
YOUR SPOUSE, AND YOUR KIDS because not everyone there is so nice and
certainly not happy to be in the same situation as you are. Tensions
get raised when confined like this. Everyone is just as desperate as
you are or else they wouldn't be there. I would bet some people are on
drugs (or need to be). And I'm sure there a few bullies who would be
happy to take your kids last granola bar. A FEMA SHELTER IS NO PLACE
TO BE, EVER.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE
IN A FEMA CAMP

Remember how I said at the start that is takes "the supplies to see
you through, the gear to get the job done right, and a real plan to
make it happen?" Well, it's true. You do need these things. All of
them, in fact.

THE SUPPLIES

Bare grocery store shelves are only the most glaring example as to
why you must stockpile supplies to see you through-not only
disasters-but hard times as well. THINK OF ALL THE CONSUMER GOODS YOU
AND YOUR FAMILY PURCHASE IN A SINGLE MONTH, let alone an entire year.
Food and beverages are primary examples, but what about other things
like gasoline for the cars, medications (both OTC and prescriptions),
an assortment of disposable goods (toilet paper, facial tissue, paper
towels, napkins, etc), soaps and shampoos, even entertainment in it's
many forms and I haven't even touched upon less-frequently purchased
items like clothing and shoes. No doubt THERE ARE MANY SUPPLIES THAT
WE RELY UPON EVEN IN A SINGLE MONTH THAT WOULD MAKE LIFE VERY
DIFFICULT TO DO WITHOUT.

THE GEAR

As humans WE'RE A TECHNOLOGICALLY-DRIVEN SPECIES; IT'S IN OUR NATURE
TO USE TOOLS AND RELY UPON THEM FOR A VARIETY OF TASKS, never more so
than in our modern society. Think about all the ways that technology
has touched our lives-and we're not even considering things like
computers, Facebook, or bluetooth-I'm thinking about more mundane
actions like flipping on a light switch to illuminate a room, watching
the television or listening to the radio for news and entertainment,
stepping on a gas pedal to propel a two thousand pound vehicle down
the road so you can get your kids to school. These, among many other
activites, are all luxuries that we've grown accustomed to and rely
upon without question.

What would we ever do without them? Freak out, that's what!

More importantly, YOUR KIDS, YOUR SPOUSE, AND MAYBE EVEN YOU WILL
BEGIN TO PANIC when the sun has gone down and it's pitch black inside
your house. Maybe you hear what you think is gunfire off in the
distance but you can't turn on the television to find out what's going
on? These are relatively basic modern-day needs that really require a
variety of gear to see you through. Equipment like lanterns,
flashlights, AM/FM radios, two-way radios, police scanners, and a wide
variety of other gear WILL be needed. In fact, this course outlines
hundreds of equipment options you may find yourself in dire need of
one day.

THE PLAN

How many activities and projects have you started but not finished?
How many have you thought about but never started? Are you the kind of
person that needs direction to get things done? The problem isn't a
lack of enthusiasm, not money, not even a lack of time it's the lack
of a plan.

You see, WHEN YOU'RE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO A PLAN YOU'RE FAR MORE
LIKELY TO SEE IT THROUGH; that's just human nature. And, with that in
mind, I've created a plan to help you see your family's preparedness
planning through to the end.

It’s time to prepare yourself and your family

WHO AM I?

My name is Damian Brindle (view my if you like). I run this website
(reThinkSurvival.com) and I've been doing so for well more than a year
now. Personally, I've been "into" preparing myself and my family for
nearly a decade now. I've learned a lot over that time and I want to
share what I know and, more importantly, what I have found to be most
important with you.

Why?

The simple fact is that AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE THAT I
SHOULD ONLY CHOOSE TO CARE FOR MY FAMILY AND FORGET EVERYONE ELSE,
THAT'S SIMPLY NOT POSSIBLE ANY LONGER. As a fellow American, I now see
it as my duty to help as many families as possible be better prepared
for whatever might come their way, be it an earthquake, hurricane,
terrorist attack, or even the coming hyperinflationary hard times. And
that, my friend, is what this is all about.

I truly want to help you get prepared. And here's THE plan to do it

GET YOUR FAMILY READY
FOR NEARLY ANY EMERGENCY
IN ONLY 12 WEEKS!

HOW I WOUND UP CREATING THIS COURSE FOR YOU

This course is unique. In fact, there's nothing else out there like
it not even close. Trust me, I've looked! To be absolutely honest, in
late 2012 I was looking for a course that was truly useful, something
that I could turn around and sell to readers for a commission (rather
than to develop an entire course myself) but I came up empty-handed. I
almost gave up but then I had the idea to create my own course in just
a month or two that was better than anything else out there several
months later and this course was born.

To be clear, this 12 week course is meant for suburbanites (like you
and I) that are interested in sheltering-in-place and better preparing
their families for days, weeks, months, and even far longer if need
be.

We'll cover 12 CRITICAL AREAS OF PREPAREDNESS:

* WATER - including water procurement (rainwater collection,
desalination, lakes and streams, well water, etc), water storage
(small containers, barrels, IBC totes, cisterns, etc), water treatment
(boiling, chemicals, SODIS, in-line filters, gravity filters, biosand
filters, etc).
* FOOD STORAGE - food safety, passive cooling, active cooling, how
to store food, root cellars/pits, vacuum foodsaver, dehydrating,
preserving meats, canning, bulk foods (wheat, rice, beans, etc),
sprouting, basic recipes, and more.
* SANITATION AND HYGIENE - including sanitation concerns (portable
toilets, hand washing, hygiene supplies, garbage, trenches and
latrines, outhouses, humanure) as well as hygiene concerns (showering,
laundry, cleaning dishes, soap, etc).
* FIRST AID AND MEDICAL - first aid information, first aid kits,
special needs, Rx medications, wound care, burn care, pandemics,
dehydration, diabetes, advanced medical kits, antibiotics, dental
care, herbs, essential oils, and more.
* SAFETY AND SECURITY - including home safety concerns (fire safety,
CO safety, safely turn off utilities, wildfires) and home security
(essential security measures, personal defense, firearms, civil
unrest, OPSEC, WROL security, caches, NBC and EMP, etc).
* HEATING AND COOLING - heating (propane, kerosene, outdoor stoves,
wood stoves, rocket mass heaters, firewood harvesting, solar heat
collectors) and cooling (makeshift coolers, fans, window a/c,
insulation).
* COOKING AND HOT WATER - propane stoves, makeshift stoves, thermal
retention, solar cooking, multi-fuel stoves, campfires, fire-starting
and sustaining, dutch ovens, and more.
* LIGHTING - including DIY candles, commercial candles, solar
lights, flashlights, lamps and lanterns (battery-powered, propane,
kerosene), headlamps, DC lighting options, etc.
* COMMUNICATIONS - weather radios, AM/FM radios, shortwave radios,
CB radios, FRS/GMRS radios, MURS radios, HAM radios.
* POWER AND FUEL - including batteries (alkaline and rechargeable),
power inverters, gasoline and diesel, propane, fuel storage,
generators, solar power, and more.
* SHELTER AND CLOTHING - sheltering (tarps, drills, plastic
sheeting, plywood, makeshift shelters) and clothing (staying warm,
staying dry, staying cool, personal protective equipment).
* and EVERYTHING ELSE that wasn't mentioned previously (such as
money, precious metals, barter, dependents, special needs individuals)
and more.

Again, THIS IS ABOUT SHELTERING-IN-PLACE, not retreats, homesteading,
or raising chickens. Period. There's so much covered that it's
daunting to mention it ALL here. Seriously!

HOW IT'S ALL PUT TOGETHER

It all starts with covering the aforementioned 12 topics using what
I've coined the A.P.T. concept, which stands for AUSTERE, PREFERRED,
and TEMPORARY (I’ll explain in a moment) and is modeled after the
P.A.C.E. concept that I happened across some time ago.

The A.P.T. concept is meant to be simple and remembered too, hence,
the A.P.T. mnemonic. But there’s a bit more to it than just that.
Consider the definition of the word ”apt” which is simply
“appropriate or suitable in the circumstances.” AND THAT’S WHAT
THIS IS ALL ABOUT: APPROPRIATE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES. Now, let’s
quickly consider the definitions of each A.P.T. acronym, but do so in
reverse order (according to Google):

* TEMPORARY – Lasting for only a limited period of time; not
permanent.
* PREFERRED - Like (one thing or person) better than another or
others; tend to choose: “I prefer Venice to Rome”.
* AUSTERE - (of living conditions or a way of life) Having no
comforts or luxuries; harsh or ascetic.

When I think about disasters and more importantly, preparing for
them, I think in the above terms. To be clear, TEMPORARY measures are
meant to get you through a short term emergency of maybe a few days to
weeks at most. PREFERRED measures are for weeks to months and even
longer in some cases. AUSTERE measures are for much longer scenarios
or for when there’s little to no expectation of returning to normal
anytime soon.

Make sense?

Good.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM EACH MODULE

Each module discusses a different topic (e.g., water, food storage,
safety and security, etc as mentioned above) and is laid out using the
aforementioned A.P.T. concept. Information, videos, and equipment are
referenced as I see fit for each section (Austere, Preferred, and
Temporary) with the expectation that what’s provided is appropriate
for that need. In fact, there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of
links, videos, and products included.

Actually, THIS PATHWAY 2 PREPAREDNESS COURSE HIGHLIGHTS WHAT I DO
BEST here at reThinkSurvival.com, and that's (1) researching the best
of the best references available to YOU and (2) organizing that
information into an easy to use and understand format.

I essentially "take you by the hand" and walk you through each
module, providing precisely the references you need to read and watch
as well as direct links to the products you should purchase to get
yourself ready.

THERE'S MORE TO IT THAN JUST LEARNING

I've also taken the time to help you develop your plans. In addition,
I've created related checklists (in PDF format) since learning via the
above referenced 12 modules is ONLY the beginning. In fact, LEARNING
IS PROBABLY THE EASIEST PART OF THE WHOLE PROCESS BECAUSE THE
“REAL” WORK BEGINS WHEN YOU START TO DECIDE WHAT OPTIONS TO RELY
ON, PURCHASE THE GEAR, AND TRACK YOUR PROGRESS. It’s all
conveniently done using the accompanying PDF Files.

Fortunately, the PDF files are relatively self-explanatory. Each
module has it’s own file (except that weeks 11 and 12 are combined).
The first time you open a PDF file you’ll be provided with the
options I've outlined for that particular module, organized using the
A.P.T. concept (with exception of Weeks 11 and 12 which do not follow
it). Simply click on the checkmark for those options you want to rely
upon and an accompanying set of information will become visible,
including equipment to purchase, tasks to complete, and additional
notes to include as necessary. A progress meter is included to help
you gauge your progress as you purchase items and complete tasks for
each option selected. These files are meant to be working documents so
please utilize them as needed until you've completely finished any
given module.

I've even included relevant Amazon Listmaina! lists in order to make
purchasing referenced products that much easier for you. Yeah, it's
that easy.

FOR WHOM THIS COURSE IS AND IS NOT INTENDED

Please understand that THE FOCUS OF THIS COURSE IS TO PREPARE A
TYPICAL SUBURBAN FAMILY TO SURVIVE IN PLACE FOR A FEW DAYS TO MONTHS
OR MUCH LONGER, if needed. It is not meant to be a homesteading
course, although some homesteading practices are covered. Regardless,
we won’t be raising livestock, I promise! Neither is this course
about wilderness survival or even survival retreats.

Likewise, the course is NOT for those who have prepped themselves for
the last 20 years and know precisely what they're doing. Nope. Rather,
it's intended for those who:

* are generally new to prepping
* live in or near a city or suburbs
* have a family to protect
* want to truly learn
* prefer an organized and logical approach

If that describes you then please continue! Now, ALLOW ME DO
SOMETHING NO OTHER SURVIVAL COURSE WILL DO, let you try it out

TAKE YOUR PATHWAY 2 PREPAREDNESS
COURSE FOR A TEST DRIVE.

Look, I could spend the next three hours attempting to describe what
you will get but sometimes it's just better to see for yourself. As
such, I'VE MADE THE WEEK1: WATER MODULE FREELY AVAILABLE SO YOU FULLY
UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT. Just (opens in a new browser window).
Also, please understand there are two additional parts to this module
so be sure to view them using the provided navigational links or and
(these links also open in a new browser window). Realize that even
though there are links to the other eleven modules, they will NOT work
until you've paid and are logged in.

Then, when you're finished working through the first module, you're
welcome to download and test the associated (please choose to
right-click on the file and "save as" or "save file as" or similar; if
you left-click instead you may have problems. Remember that there are
ten additional PDF files (because weeks 11 and 12 are combined) as
well. In addition, each module has an associated too. You'll notice
that all the other eleven Listmania! lists are readily accessible too
(upon viewing any Listmania! list) feel free to peruse them if you
like. Remember, however, that this course isn't about a list of
products. Not at all. It's much more about the weeks of learning and
eventual planning that will be done.

WHAT DID YOU THINK?

If you liked the idea and content then the other eleven modules are
very similar to the water module (some just as long, others shorter).
If you did NOT like the idea then, please, please, please, don't
bother to signup. The last thing I want is for you to be disappointed.
Actually, the LAST thing I want is for you to be unprepared. The good
news is that if you truly choose to follow the advice contained within
then I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL BE "PREPARED FOR
99% OF WHAT LIVE CAN THROW AT YOU." Prepping isn't difficult but it
does take time, effort, some money, and plenty of planning.

If this course speaks to you, choose to signup right now! You won't
be disappointed. I guarantee it.

STILL NOT CONVINCED?
LET'S COMPARE!

This is something I guarantee no other survival course would dare try
comparing their course to others, but I'm going to do it so you fully
understand why this course is head-and-shoulders above the rest.

Remember when I said I was looking for a course to sell? Well, there
are a bunch of them. I was surprised to be honest. The sad thing is
that it seems many people are "jumping on the bandwagon" if you will
and hoping to make a quick buck selling anything they can. The worst
part is that many of the products out there seem to be what I consider
sub-par content.

Now, I can't say that I've reviewed them all, I have not and will no
longer do so. But, I have reviewed a few of them with mixed reactions.
Regardless, let's look at some of the more popular ones out there

37 CRITICAL ITEMS (AKA. SOLD OUT AFTER CRISIS)

This course provides a handful of reports sent to you on as a DVD.
Reports include "37 Vital Food Items Guide," "Water Purification
Quickstart Guide," "Survival Garden Plans," "Off-Grid Survival Backup
Power," "Survival Food Stockpiling and Storage" and a 30 day trial
membership in something called the "Liberty Survival Alliance," which
apparently gains you access to additional survival information for a
monthly fee.

I did have a chance to , and while it contained some interesting and
useful information-especially with regards to the off-grid power-I
felt most of it was nothing new. In fact, if you want a list of things
to hoard, here's a list of that often floats around the Net nearly
triple the 37 items.

FYI, this author seems to have several survival courses out there,
though, I'm not entirely sure what the differences are.

SURVIVE IN PLACE - URBAN SURVIVAL SECRETS YOU WON'T FIND IN MANUALS,
BOOKS, OR BLOGS

That's a bold statement, isn't it? I thought so. In fact, I choose to
purchase this course quite a while ago and even . Overall, I was
pleased with the course and information contained within. They did try
to up-sell me after purchase, which I neither appreciated nor
accepted. I also recall not being given access to anything other than
the first week's content (there are 12 total weeks in the course as
well) but emailed customer support and was then granted complete
access.

Regardless, I do recall the content being relatively interesting-but
no "secrets" if you ask me-and was provided with both PDF files and
audio where the author basically reads the PDF files to you; though I
was hoping he would add additional insight, he did not. Beyond that,
the course includes two bonus files on "Regaining Privacy Online" and
"47 Proven Strategies to Protect Yourself From Identity Theft" neither
of which did a whole lot for me as I recall but you may find them
useful.

BACKYARD LIBERTY

Now, here's a course that I have not reviewed and recently considered
doing so but ultimately felt didn't pertain to my current situation.
Essentially, the course seems to be primarily about aquanopics, in
particular, building a system very inexpensively. Additional bonus
reports are included: "How to Build a Water Biofilter," "Surviving an
Economic Collapse," and "27 Items You Need to Hoard." I did notice
that he provides one heck of a guarantee, not only refunding your
money but money (to a limit) that you paid on supplies to build it!
That is impressive.

WANT TO KNOW THE REAL
SECRET TO GETTING PREPARED?

There is NO secret. Honestly. There' aren't just 27, 37, or even 100
items that you MUST hoard. No doubt there are plenty of supplies and
gear that you can use and this course certainly highlights a lot
hundreds, in fact.

Likewise, there isn't ONE thing like hydroponics that's going to see
you through a disaster or even the coming hard times. Granted, it can
be one component but there's a reason why I've outlined 12 separate
modules since you MUST consider ALL areas of preparedness equally.

Again, most courses it seems are not nearly thorough enough, focus on
just one aspect of preaparedness, or just aren't worth your time and
money. Fortunately, this course is different and there's plenty more.
In fact

WE'RE NOT DONE YET,
NOT EVEN CLOSE!

As much as I would like to believe that the 12 weeks of this course
is all that you need to be prepared, there's still more to it much
more. Let's start with creating bug out and vehicle kits

BONUS #1: EASILY DESIGN YOUR OWN BUG OUT KIT AND VEHICLE KITS

These documents are meant to PROVIDE YOU WITH AN EASY WAY TO CREATE
AND TRACK YOUR BUG OUT BAG AND VEHICLE KITS. All major categories are
included: food and water, medical and first aid, hygiene and
sanitation, clothing and shelter, safety and security, lighting and
communications, children and pets, information, tools, supplies,
special needs, and more.

MANY OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AND PRE-SELECTED FOR YOU BUT YOU CAN
EASILY ADD OR REMOVE PRE-POPULATED ITEMS AS YOU WISH and even add your
own items in exactly the same fashion as the week 1 through 12 PDF
files. Specifically, there is space for an item description, comments,
quantity to include, examples, and expiration dates. You can also
track each item as you acquire it until you have 100% of the items you
selected. Here's a few screenshots of the bug out kit file, though,
the vehicle kit file is very similar (click to enlarge)

BONUS #2: CREATE A COMPREHENSIVE BUG OUT INFORMATION WORKSHEET

All of THE IMPORTANT STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR LIFE and then
some! Sections are included for:

* your home address
* alternative emergency numbers
* utility providers
* local and out-of-state emergency contacts
* household member information
* pet details
* contact information for places like work and school
* vehicle and personal property information
* insurance and financial contacts
* professional contacts
* recovery services contacts
* medical and other health care contacts
* prescription medications
* and more

It's quite comprehensive and there's a lot covered. Here's a few

BONUS #3: DEVELOP CRITICAL EVACUATION PROCEDURES

Among the more pressing needs when bugging out is to DEVELOP A
QUALITY PLAN AS TO WHAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL DO IF YOU EVER NEED
TO EVACUATE. This file is meant to help you develop those plans and is
broken into two major sections: procedures and routes.

The first section, Evacuation Procedures, is MEANT TO ENGAGE YOU AND
YOUR FAMILY IN THE PLANNING PROCESS. Here you will make decisions
regarding a variety of critical topics, such as exactly who is in
charge in an evacuation situation, how the decision to evacuate will
be made, and even what will happen with respect to rendezvous
situations.

The second section, your Evacuation Routes, is MEANT TO DETAIL
PRECISELY WHERE YOU WILL EVACUATE TO. Although you probably have one
or two specific locations you intend to retreat to, the attempt here
is to force you to think about needing to evacuate in any direction
(north, south, east, west) because you cannot assume that you will be
able to get to the one or two locations you wanted to get to due to
road outages, traffic congestion, etc. There are sections for both
local and out-of-area evacuation destinations, including primary and
secondary routes, rendezvous points (if necessary), and hotel
information. Here's a few screenshots (click to enlarge)

BONUS #4: CREATE EFFECTIVE PRIORITY CHECKLISTS

The purpose of this worksheet is to CREATE A READY-REFERENCE LIST OF
ANY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES THAT YOU INTEND TO TAKE WITH YOU SHOULD YOU
EVER NEED TO EVACUATE. You can either place this list in an emergency
binder or perhaps in a highly visible location such as on your
refrigerator.

Regardless of where you place it, this checklist is separated into
three distinct lists depending on how fast you need to evacuate: “15
minutes”, “1 Hour” and “1 Day” and allows for you to
determine:

* the item's PRIORITY (e.g., high, moderate, low)
* the LOCATION (e.g., basement, bedroom, garage, etc)
* an item DESCRIPTION (whatever you like)
* the VEHICLE it goes in
* and even a checkbox for you to use to track when it's been added
to the vehicle during your bug out packing

Here's a screenshot (click to enlarge)

priority checklist (blank)

(example page)

That about covers bug outs and evacuation. Let's move on to your
general readiness

BONUS #5: QUICKLY REFERENCE DISASTER ACTION PLANS

Begin ACTION PLANNING FOR THE MOST LIKELY DISASTERS YOU AND YOUR
FAMILY NEED TO PREPARE FOR. I suggest you limit the number of
disasters to a maximum of five in order to focus your preparations but
you can certainly select all of them if you like. After you've
selected up to five disasters (you can start with fewer too), scroll
down the file and begin action-planning one disaster at a time.

Each disaster action plan includes the same sections:

* REACTION – Select your expected reaction to this disaster, such
as “evacuate immediately” or “shelter in place”.
* IMMEDIATE REACTIONS – Anything that should be done NOW because a
disaster is imminent (or highly likely). In most cases you’re not
going to be referencing this file during a disaster; as such, this is
just good information for all family members to be exposed to.
* SPECIFIC INFORMATION – Includes anything that would be useful to
know or remember but aren't necessarily actionable items.
* MITIGATING ACTIONS – Actions you can take well before any
disaster might occur in order to lessen or reduce it’s impact.
* RECOVERY ACTIVITIES – Actions that may need to occur as a result
of disaster.
* ADDITIONAL NOTES – Anything else you want to include not covered
elsewhere.

BONUS #6: DEVELOP AN INTUITIVE ONE-PAGER REFERENCE

A easy to read READY-REFERENCE OF IMPORTANT CONTACT NUMBERS AND
CRITICAL MEDICAL INFORMATION that can be posted in a highly visible
location such as on your refrigerator. You may include:

* your home address
* cell phone numbers
* alternative emergency numbers
* utility provider numbers
* your personal emergency contacts
* critical medical information such as allergies, special needs, and
disabilities

This information can be USED IN EMERGENCIES WHERE YOU (OR PERHAPS A
BABYSITTER) MIGHT NEED OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE SUCH AS WHEN CALLING 9-1-1.
It might also come in handy for less dire circumstances such as when
needing to contact a utility provider due to a service outage, for
instance. Here's a screenshot (click to enlarge)

(example page)

BONUS #7: PREPARE A FIRE ESCAPE PLAN

The purpose of this worksheet is to GIVE YOU A BASIS FOR DEALING WITH
THE AFTERMATH OF A HOME FIRE AS WELL AS TO START A DISCUSSION ABOUT
FIRE SAFETY with younger children. Here's a screenshot (click to

fire plan (blank)

(example page)

BONUS #8: MANAGE LONG TERM TASK TRACKING

Here you can EASILY KEEP TRACK OF THE LAST DATE THAT YOU PERFORMED
ANY LONG TERM TASK as well as when it is due to be completed again.
These are generally tasks that may be longer term in nature, such as
rotating your water storage yearly, replacing smoke alarm batteries,
and so on. Here's a screenshot (click to enlarge)

(example page)

BONUS #9: BEST PRACTICES

The purpose of this worksheet is to PROVIDE YOU WITH A VARIETY OF
"BEST PRACTICES" THAT YOU CAN UTILIZE TO BE BETTER PREPARED FOR
EMERGENCIES as well as to be safer at home.

Included are a wide variety of best practices, such as:

* an assortment of general ideas
* food and water ideas
* communications and information suggestions
* ideas for your vehicles
* home safety and security
* fire safety
* household chemicals
* identity theft
* wildfire
* firearms

Here's a few screenshots (click to enlarge)

BONUS #10: SPENDING LOG AND FOOD JOURNAL

These documents are intended to (1) help you TRACK DAILY EXPENDITURES
IN ORDER TO FIND EXPENSES THAT CAN BE MINIMIZED and then funneled to
bolster your preps and (2) JOURNAL NON-PERISHABLE FOODS THAT YOUR
FAMILY CONSUMES so that you can work toward a 30, 60, and 90 supply of
these foods on hand. Both worksheets are meant to be printed out and
used as daily working documents. Here's a few screenshots (click to

BONUS #11: FOOD STORAGE CALCULATOR

Quickly DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF LONG-TERM STORABLE FOODS YOU WOULD
NEED ON HAND TO SEE YOUR FAMILY THROUGH FOR ONE MONTH, THREE MONTHS,
AND SIX MONTHS, respectively. FYI: All foods and recommended amounts
to store are based on LDS Church recommendations. Calculations are
straightforward and are based on your input to the “Total Household
Members” and “Children (
