“Basketball Classroom gives coaches at all levels the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the game.

The site provides you with everything you need to make you and your team better. Coach Stricklin does a great job of breaking down everything from how to run a practice, to game preparation to helping coaches handle parents meetings. This is a coach’s dream!”

“Wow, 2 thumbs up for The Basketball Classroom! I just spent only about 1/2 hour now looking through the program and I have already found ways to become a better coach and teacher. The information provided is right on and the way it is laid out being all in one spot can’t be beat. I am looking forward to the season starting so I can implement the things I have learned from the site. Thanks for everything you have done for us coaches, chomping at the bit for module 2!”

As an assistant coach for Dave Stricklin for five years I was able to see first hand the success that running his system can bring. Now as a varsity head coach at the high school level I have implemented much of what I learned from Coach Stricklin. Utilizing Coach Stricklin’s philosophy, in under 3 seasons, I have taken a program that was mired in the bottom of the league and that averaged less than 30 points per game to being ranked #3 in the state while scoring over 70 points per game. In my opinion Coach Stricklin’s system is user friendly, exciting to watch, and fun for kids to play. It truly is a blueprint for a successful program.

“Coach Stricklin’s knowledge, feel for the game, and ability to teach put him in a rare class amongst college basketball coaches. His ability to make improvements in all of his players’ games is highly valued.”

I’ve known Dave for many years. He was a mentor to me when I first started out as a young high school coach. I learned many great things from him not only X’s & O’s but how to deal with players on and off the court. During my career as a high school coach I have produced 3 High school All-Americans & California State players of the year, several All-State players, and sent several players to play at the college level. There is NO doubt the guidance Dave show me at a young age with his knowledge of the game of basketball has helped me become the coach I am today.

Dave Stricklin is an outstanding coach and his success stands on own its own merits. When talking with Dave, I always come away with some unique insight, technique, or motivational tool that I employ with my own team and pass down to my club coaches. Dave is truly a “coach’s coach.” I am confident even the most experienced coach can learn something new from Dave.
