HOW TO USE THIS E-BOOK?
I strongly advise you to take not more than 5 pages per day, but
really study those for the most effect. Examine the background of what
I wrote, play demonstrated examples and then do the assignments. It is
actually quite a bit of work to do, but that's the only way to fully
understand what I'm talking about.
There's also one really good advice from my guitarist friend Nick
Layton about instructional products. He has been asked what is the
best instructional DVD, and he answered:
_The best ones are the ones you actually work on and incorporate into
your playing. I'm speaking from experience here. I've bought hundreds
of videos/dvd's/books over the years. The vast majority are collecting
dust. The one's that I put a lot of time into made a huge impact on my
playing. If you just take one dvd and learn it front to back you will
reap huge gains.... but the temptation is just to keep collecting
information and put off the real work until later. My advice: Pick one
and dig in!_
