9 years ago, when I was just 16 I suddenly fell ill and was rushed
into hospital.

My liver had grown an abscess that needed to be cut out with surgery.
After cutting a 4-inch scar through my stomach I was bed-ridden for
almost 3 months.

In that time I lost all strength in my upper and lower body, my abs
were damaged and weak (due to the surgery) and my weight dropped to
under 9 stone (57 kilos / 126 lbs)!

It didn’t help that I was ALREADY a typical skinny 16 year old –
with no confidence in my physique.

I was so frustrated and paranoid about what other people –
particularly women – would think of me in this state.

They would look at me and think I was weak, pathetic, puny, had no
confidence, and most of all, I felt like less of a man.

So, the MINUTE that I got home from hospital the very first thing I
did was to learn EVERTHING I could about GAINING MUSCLE for skinny
guys like me who dropped weight easily but find it hard to put on. I
also started researching THE FASTEST AND MOST POWERFUL WAYS OF

following a ‘tempo’ based training (“_3 seconds lifting, 2
seconds pause, 3 seconds to lower the weight_”, or something similar
