Here’s what this is about: My name is James Reeves, and I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2004… and I’ve been working with patients since 1996.  Before working as a Registered Nurse….I was a Certified Nurse Aide, an EMT, and a Medic in the ARMY.

I was always the skinny kid growing up…only weighing about 170 lbs when I graduated high school.  I loved playing sports, going swimming, and riding around town in my dad’s jeep with no shirt on….it was a blast…but…

That all changed when I started college, my weight went up like a rocket and I now suffered from being overweight.

My weight problem began when I was staying up late at night studying for nursing school exams and snacking on anything I could find.  I wasn’t really concerned about my weight; I was just trying to pass all of my nursing classes.  I thought to myself, “I’ll probably just lose it later when I have time to eat right.”

As my weight went up, I started suffering from common side effects of being overweight…

My clothes didn’t fit right.

My blood pressure was going up to dangerous levels.

My cholesterol was high.

I dreaded having to put on a swim suit.

I could barely climb a flight of stairs without losing my breath.

I was embarrassed about the way I looked.

I just didn’t feel good….And It Sucked!

I tried just about every diet out there.  I tried using diets that I found in magazines…didn’t work.  I tried drinking Slim Fast…didn’t work.  I even tried to start running again and ended up pulling a muscle in my thigh…OUCH!

It wasn’t until I became friends with a co-worker that things started to change for me.

You see…He was an amateur bodybuilder and he had his nutrition down to a science.  During his “OFF” season from bodybuilding, he would “bulk-up” to gain the most amount of muscle possible.  Then when it got close to “show-time”, he would have to lose all of that extra fat in a hurry.

I told him I wanted to lose weight so he wrote out a very simple diet plan for me to follow on a scrap piece of paper.  It was literally like half a page long.  That’s it.

I was a little skeptical at first, but I gave it a shot anyway. I started the diet and immediately started seeing and feeling results.  I lost 8 lbs. the first week alone.

I Was Hooked!…

I continued the plan, and made some changes to the diet along the way.  Once I understood just “how” this diet worked, I was able to easily decide what I could and couldn’t eat.

After 4 months on the diet, I lost 52 lbs.  See my before and after pics below.
